Favorite black friday purchase
I love this chromebook. It does everything I need for my work as a therapist because I only need the TEAMS app and an internet browser to access the website for notes and medical documentation. It's super fast and simple to use. I use it as a homeschool mom to plan using google docs and google classroom. The battery life is great. I have written reports on it and had it open an entire work day and still had battery power left. It is also my family's go to for zoom meetings for school, church, work, training, etc. because, again, it's just fast and easy to use. No lag. You just open the zoom app and you’re good (as long as the internet connection is good). Very functional and affordable.

Pretty solid so far
Using for almost a monthPros:-12 to 13 hour battery life, it can really last 2 to 3 days of usage-Instantly boots up-No lag or slowing down seenduring usage-Android and linux support-Excellent build quality, nice trackpad, nice keyboard, 2 usb 3.1, 2 usb 3.0 ports.Cons:-Microsoft Office Desktop version can be set up under wine using linux beta but it's mostly glitchy, can't use pinyin keyboard on it etc. Also google office suite this computer comes with doesn't fully support docx, xlsx, pptx etc. microsoft office created files. So i recommend setting up mobisystems officesuite it's mostly compatible with microsoft office created files.-I mentioned above is pretty much apply for all windows programs set up using wine.-Can't install apk files from other sources-32 gb is enough for basic but you need to get 64 gb or more sd card or some kind of cloud storage-setting up linux apps is hardI paid $153+shipping&deposit so to sum up it's pretty solid device for it's price. It would be $400-500 range if it was windows device.

More like a tablet than a pc laptop
Good value for the money. I wanted to be able to go online, update spreadsheets, play games. I can do all these things, but the difference between Chromebook and a regular laptop is that you cannot save anything to Chromebook. All your files are stored online via your Google account. That takes a little getting used to for me.If you are looking for small and basic, this is a great value. I like the sturdiness of the case, and that the keyboard is water-resistant. The battery life is awesome. I can watch movies, surf the web, and create spreadsheets and documents via Google Docs. I am happy with my purchase.

An excellent bargain
It's early days with this little Chromebook, but I am very pleased with it so far.Pros:It runs multiple tabs and has handled video and audio playback no problem. It feels very sturdy, the screen is fine, and the speed is just fine too. I'm really thrilled that the screen folds open to 180 degrees. Part of why I say it feels it feels so solid and sturdy is because the first Chromebook I tried had a screen that flexed way too much when opening, and clearly wouldn't have lasted long. This one doesn't flex at all, opens way farther, and over all this laptop is just a little bit thicker all the way around. The trade off for that is in the Cons, but ultimately I think that it is worth it.Cons: I will mirror someone else's concern about the small usb charging port, it doesn't seem very physically secure. It hasn't actually fallen out, but it is wiggly and I wouldn't want to have to use it while it's plugged in unless I knew for sure I wouldn't move it around. That all sounds scary but it really isn't. It's something I would change if I could, but as long as it charges and has no issues, then it's really more of a personal preference. My only other quibble is that this laptop's trade off for its thickness is that it is heavier than I was anticipating. This hasn't caused any problems, but I haven't tried to trek around with it in a bag yet.Overall: Glad I listened to Consumer Reports, solid and sturdy, get's the job(s) done! Hope it lasts a nice long time.

Doing an Early Review...Love It So Far
For what I paid for this...what a gr8 lil tablet. The set-up was very easy, only a few minutes. Very light weight & small enough to tote around but large enough for me to feel I'm on a normal size lap-top. This is my first net-book...if you've never used one, I suggest a wireless mouse....especially for set-up. It took me a few days to get used to the way the touch-pad works as their is no click buttons. Once set up and settings tweaked...you'll love this. I don't play games but so far this has worked flawless on the internet and videos. I love the fact its up and running as I am lifting the screen to open. For me...this was an awesome buy.

Endless battery and speed!
Excellent value. Bought this netbook during the holiday sale. Lightening fast, can last you a whole day of moderate use, and the standby is phenomenal. Perfect for any student.Only drawback is the storage. Which, if you use it for the purpose of school, isn't necessarily a deal breaker as you can utilize Google drive for storage options.Additionally, I have used the computer for recordings of speeches for my online classes and the audio comes through clear. Webcam is satisfactory. The speakers are a bit lacking in quality but impressed me with the volume it puts out.The charging cord is a USB-C that also works with my phone.

Good value for the money.
I bought this during a Cyber Monday special ($120). The screen quality is subpar (dim and blotchy) and it's a bit slow when I have more than 2 tabs open or downloading an app, but I factored that into the decision when buying it. Overall, I am satisfied with it, but would be disappointed if I paid full price. However, I carry it around with me everyday since I received it. It's a decent entry level Chromebook and I would buy it again at the sale price.
