No instructions
The product is good. Made towing much better. My only complaint is there were no instructions or link to an install video or something. If you want a video look on YouTube, "Fleece performance tap shifter Rev B". It will take you to the correct one. The first video I found involved modifying the Grey plug to add a wire. This product is an updated version and doesn't require the plug modification.

Works great, but be prepared to fit the shifter
Product works as expected. Super happy to have tapshift ability! In my case, the tapshifter was bent where it mounts into the steering colum. Once i figured out where it needed fitting, I was able to grind on it enough that it would allow the holding screw to be installed.It is one of the best upgrades for towing!

Wish I did it along time ago.
2004 Chevy duramax LB7 with the 5 speed Allison. This thing works great. Had it installed in less then 30 min. There is a You Tube video that shows how to install it if you need more help. Great product.

Doesn't work
I received the product and installed. It took a while to work it through the firewall. Started the truck and the line under what gear your in wasn't there. I put it into gear and it slammed into gear because the transmission wasn't communicating. I disconnected the harness and inspected the pins everything looked fine. So I plugged everything back in ensuring the pins were seated. Then everything worked as planned for 2 months. Yesterday I'm driving down the freeway and the truck slams into third gear because it lost communication like when I originally installed it. I tried to reseat the plug on the side of the road with no luck. Had to drive all the way home in 3rd gear at 30 miles an hour. When I got home I unplugged and inspected everything again it looked fine. I cannot get it to send a signal anymore no matter what it do. Ended up pulling it off. I should have known when I had trouble getting a connection to begin not to trust it. Do not buy

PURE AWESOMENESS
This Fleece Tap Shifter is one of the best upgrades you can do to one of these trucks that doesn't have it. I installed on my LB7 2003 GMC and the quality is excellent and installation is very straight forward!

2005 lly Duramax
One of the coolest modifications I have made to my 2005 lly Duramax! I use the truck to pull a fifth wheel and the down shifting is nice!Update:I use this much more than I thought I would, while pulling my camper. Worth every penny!!

Best mod for you 5spd Allison
Fast Shipping! Coolest and most useful thing you can do to your Duramax for around $300. Definitely going to save my trans and brakes being able to manually control my transmission!
