MID-WEST METAL PRODUCTS CO., 42" Contour DBL Door Dog Crate

I love these crates. I own 4 German Shepherds & have upgraded all their beds to this model because with one hand I can lift the door & lock it in place, then slide the bolt. Even with all the jumping that can occur they stay safely enclosed. I prefer the 2 door model because it gives me placement versatility.

Box came and had previously been opened. The base was cracked.

I got a brand new one of these for free when I adopted my dog in April 2018, and thank god, because I would be pissed if I had paid &112+ for it. 2-3 months in, and the side door handle just fell off. And it continues to fall off every day. It slips back in easily, but the point is that it shouldn't come out, period, especially if I'm just locking and unlocking the crate versus actually trying to remove it. I have a pet cam, so I know for a fact my dog doesn't beat up on the crate, yet it still manages to get all these indents and warps in sections. Must be extremely fragile, because sure I occasionally move it around and break it down/set it up, but I'm not rough with it either. It's been less than a year and the thing seems like it's already on its last leg. I'm almost positive there are other, better options available for less.
