Here’s what these are really for!
Waterproof socks have been around for a long time. But ever since I’ve seen them for sale I haven’t seen anybody marketing them based on practical uses for them, which I think hurts the manufacturers. There may be somebody doing that, but I haven’t seen it myself. There’s just a photo of a leg in a sock in the water, and they say it’s waterproof. Am I supposed to then walk around wearing only these socks? I don’t think so! But here’s what I find it invaluable for, and I’m sure there are other similar uses for it. I work for a furniture moving company. When it rains we still move furniture. It doesn’t matter to us. When my feet stay in wet shoes all day they get an itchy peely rash that lasts days. Well what if it rains multiple days in a row? My feet really couldn’t handle that. Why not get waterproof shoes? For one moving furniture shoes wear out quickly. Water proof shoes are expensive. Waterproof shoes also allow water over the top, and then the water is sealed in with your foot. So I say don’t even get waterproof shoes. I just get the 14 dollar wall mart shoes and wear water proof socks. Then I arrive at work when its raining feeling confident, and I splash around in puddles all day long without a care. My feet feel great day after day, and the socks last a long time. They are an awesome option for me, and I highly recommend them.

They'll keep your feet dry!
I love these. They feel a little like my wetsuit but the most important thing to me is keeping my feet dry. They don't form to your feet very well but they're comfortable. I work on a ranch all day in very muddy, wet terrain. My boots only last about 30 minutes before water seeps inside and they're water resistant. So, I needed more. I did a lot of research before buying these. 12 hours in mud and 6 inch water and my feet stayed dry! You'll want to wear shoes larger than your norm. For example, I wear a size 7 but I bought my boots a size 8 so I could wear thick socks. I'm happy I did because these socks wouldn't have fit otherwise. My feet are prone to getting cold so the extra insulation was nice but if your feet normal sweat, they definitely will with these. You could always wear a thin pair of socks under these to soak up any sweat.

Seriously water proof
I went snow boarding for the first time a month or so ago and I wanted to make sure I had the right gear to be comfortable all day. Saw these and thought water proof socks sounded amazing but probably too good to be true. Sure enough, I get them in the mail and poor a glass of water on them and stand in the puddle on my floor and felt nothing on my feet.Went snow boarding, my feet stayed warm and dry the entire day, no issues. They are also very comfortable so no sacrifices were made to comparability for the practicality of the waterproofing.GET THEM

Honestly, the best investment I've ever made regarding keeping me warm
We all know body heat leaves the body via hands, feet and head, cold weather has never been a fear for me when it comes to cold weather, hands made me nervous of I would be prepared enough but feet just had me all out afraid, cause I've experienced wet socks in snow before and it's the worst feeling I can remember, not to mention the possible health risk, I.E. frostbite>amputation, so I had to make sure I got something great, and I kinda just blindly picked a pair and these where that pick and I put this on everything, when I'm outside, in the negative temperatures, trekking through knee high snow and low cut work boots and they're steel toed, I don't feel a thing!!!! Not cause they r so numb, but because this company set out to do exactly what the socks do!!!!! One last thing, I've just fixed my glove problem and even that I just made it so my snow gloves r bearable in negative temperatures, my ears have been stinging hurting from this cold weather out here, but the one part of my body I don't EVER have to wonder if they'll stand up to harsher and harsher conditions is my feet, and that piece of mind is a lot of weight taken off my shoulders, I just wish this company made working gloves and bacalava

Saved the excursion!
Bought these socks for my husband to take to The Boundary Waters. The first day he underestimated a Portage and filled his boots with water. These socks saved the rest of the trip! He put these on, and they were a perfect barrier between his wet boots and his dry skin! A++

Amazing for wet weather!
I live in the pacific northwest and anyone who's been there in the colder months will tell you it's VERY wet. I've been on several hikes where I walk through running and standing water for several miles, through mud and water and my feet stay completely dry! Not too warm and not too cool for just above freezing tempratures, not sure if they would be too warm in the summer.Overall it's really worth every penny, having wet feet on long walks is really not fun and these fix that problem. Be sure to keep an eye on these guys because I lost one of my socks, bummer but definitely going to buy another pair even if I find the lost one!

very awesome cold weather waterproof sock
had this sock for a year now. It does an amazing job. I haven't tested it by stepping in water yet. But how I mostly use them is by wearing my Hoka trail running shoes (which are super vented and porous), and then wear these socks which in the snow. In the snow I am running around as a photographer. It allows me to use these grippy trail running shoes in the snow and not get cold. My feet stayed really dry and warm for hours. Also I mountain bike a lot in the mtns and I've worn these in my bike shoe this winter riding in the mud and snows. Which like the running shoes are very vented. If these ever got a hole in them i'd buy them one and over. But they have lasted a year now in perfect condition. FYI ... don't put them in a dryer to dry, just wash them and hang to dry.

These should be standard issue for cold weather troops!
These are the most amazing socks. I am a repeat customer. My first shipment went to nephew stationed in Fairbanks who wore these on manuvers, and swears they saved his feet from frost bite during October training when it was raining and freezing. His boots were full of water, but he was amazed that his feet were warm and dry!Best way to describe these us they are like woven neoprene. Very cushy. Very warm and DRY!

My feet thank you.
I was sceptical at first. Like waterproof and breathable socks, c’mon. But after 15 minutes soaking in the bathtub my feet are still dry. Just ordered another pair.

The fit is great!
I love how they are not much thicker than regular socks. I can run in snow or slush in my usual running shoes. The fit is close to my foot now bulky wrinkles. I'm a ladies size 7 and took an extra small as advised on the sizing chart.

Good product and good quality.
I bought these socks for my son to use on a soccer game on the field when it's raining. The socks work for the main propose, the feet of my son still dry after a hole game on rain. The only concern that I have is that the socks are a little thicker than normal. Whether you have a shoe that is close to your toes, maybe will be hard to fit.

Sizing may have been wrong
Stiff and bulky, not really what I was looking for and I doubt these were for women. I wear a size 6 in shoes and boots and these were way too big. Looked more like a small for men. Returned.
