I was really nervous because of all the bad reviews, but I've decided most of those people just probably don't know how to wash towels. These seem absolutely fine, they feel like good quality (especially for the price), the color is cute and really really close to as shown in the picture, and my skin feels really dry after using them. They aren't too thick (which may feel great when you use them right after a wash, but always ends up making towels smell funky faster since they don't dry when they're too bulky), but they also aren't too thin. They dry well hanging up and don't take as long in the dryer after washing as most other towels do. Don't leave them in your dryer too long! It might make your towels degrade faster. Don't use fabric softener when washing towels since it can mess with the absorbency, and for the love of god don't wash towels with your clothes ever, but if you must don't do it the first few washes and then post a bad review because you don't know how to wash laundry like an adult. Figured I'd drop hints for future buyers so they don't leave unnecessary bad reviews on these towels, too.

I wanted towels that are soft, not too thin but not overly heavy (heavy ones take too long to dry) and these are perfect. When washed in cold water, no fabric softener and dried (not fried) in the dryer they come out beautiful every time. I've had no problem with my grey towels fading. No problem with loose stitching, strings, etc. which makes me question the validity of many of the negative reviews seen here. I checked my washer after the first wash of 4 towels and it was completely free of lint. Was there lint in the dryer lint trap? Of course, but no more than is normal for the first dry of brand new towels. After that first dry, the amount of lint in the trap has decreased significantly to no more than what normally comes off of every cotton towel made. These towels have not been a disappointment and were exactly what I wanted. I would definitely order them again. Happy customer!

These towels looked like a good buy. I should never have bought them. They have been washed over 15 times and still shed like crazy. I dry off after getting out of the shower and when I put lotion on my face the lint pills up all over my hands and I have to wash my face again to get it off and dirty another dry wash cloth to avoid walking around with a lint covered face all day. It's ridiculous. I have no idea how these companies sell towels without pre-washing them as many times as it takes to get them to stop shedding. If a towel is still shedding lint all over your body when drying off after 15+ washes it is defective and deserves less than a 1 star review.

It's hard to fully endorse these towels because one came with a flyaway string and missing dye. Cut the flyaway away but the color is still obviously off and it is thinner in that spot as well. Seller responded quickly and we were refunded $6.50 -- we asked for a replacement towel but they didn't have them. Hate the 'it's not that expensive so no big deal' referral but we have nothing else to go on here.The remaining towels we're using now we washed and dried 4x and they're medium softness and pretty good absorbency wise.

Great quality. Does not pill. Does not wash out.A few months later it just started turning yellow. I don't know if this is with regular washing or otherwise. I am not doing anything different. No bleach used. It happened to 4 of them. Very strange. I have other towels from this line for longer with no issues

DO NOT BUY! These have clogged up our washer TWICE! With the layer that comes off of them. This last time we had to pay the washer repairman over $250! They are a beautiful beautiful blue but obviously not worth any money. They also rapidly fill up the dryer vent with heavy amounts of lint. Terrible

I purchased the towels and in a separate order, a set of 12 wash cloths. Both resulted in the same disaster results after the first wash. The threads tore apart, leaving strings of gray fabric in the machine, and the color faded on certain spots on the towels . These were not a good quality of towels.

Ordered these twice, love the towels, as I had to replace my first set of Utopia towels and washcloths. My only issue is they seem to have either changed the manufacturer, or down graded the quality of them. They don't have the same print on them, they do not feel the same, or stand up against multiple washing/drying as my previous ones did. I tend to use a new wash clothes and towel daily, so I am currently on the hunt for a set I can wash multiple times a week, that won't fall apart. I had to cut strings from these in less then 2 weeks. NOT FUN!

I bought for use in the gym. I chose large towels but in order to avoid a mountain of washing I hoped that they were not wrap around size. It was a good choice. Not overly soft or fluffy. Good workaday towels. I did not bother to wash them prior to use as advised. Luckily, I was not covered in lint as can happen with some new towels. They were noticeably absorbent. Only downside was down to amazon. Packaging was split and a small dirty patch on the towel on delivery. But a good purchase and I will be ordering some more.

Good quality thick towels. Longer size than usual bathtowels for better wrap around body. For me they are too soft when new out of the packet and the charcoal colour had a slight green tinge which looked an odd match against my beautiful grey Italian-tiled bathroom. However after one wash they feel like the towels I love..with a bit of roughness, great absorbancy and the charcoal grey is truer in colour. I also previously purchased two sets of the white bathtowel set in another place. They are lovely too. However white towels always end up off-white uneven colour with full use so I find the darkest colours extremely practical lasting more years..particularly handy if there are several members in your family and especially for busy girls with tans and makeup! I love that the whole set is all bath towels with extras for guests/family as I have less need for face cloths/guest towels that are in so many sets.

Rather disappointed with these. Amazon really should change the description. As far as I am concerned they are towels, yes, they are dense (GSM is right) but they aren't thick, they aren't soft and they aren't what I would call Bath Towels. Last time I will buy towels on Amazon, descriptions can be misleading. I will keep them and buy proper bath towels elsewhere, they may cost more but they will be actual bath towels not wash towels lol.

These are way too small to be bath towels. Im advrage size and these would only be considered bath towels for kids!Its a desgusting missrepresentation of a product.
