I have been buying these BC CLOTHING pants for years!! They have in my opinion finally have the correct POCKET DESIGN PLACMENT WHEREBY THEY ARE HIDDEN SO WELL THAT THEY LOOK LIKE ORDINARY SLACKS YOU CAN WEAR TO ALMOST ANY JOB!!! These BC CLOTHING MEN'S CONVERTIBLE PANTS are extremely comfortable. THE WELL DESIGNED HIDDEN DEEP- EXTRA POCKETS for all your stuff!! These are great pants to wear for casual FRIDAY'S. These pants are great for SUMMER/FALL cycling; just UNZIP the bottom leg portion of the pants and you're good to go! A web belt is included with almost every pair purchased.Price point: $14.00- $19.00 at eBay AND COSTCO's late Summer /Early FALL sales. Amazon Fair prices:$19.00-$30.00 verses to a ( WHOPPING Ridiculous $80.00 in some online stores!! BY THE WAY---- GUYS!! SO I FINALLY MADE MY PURCHASE AT AMAZON BECAUSE I AM NOT GOING TO CAMEL CA FOR A PAIR OF PANTS!!Con: Pants Length Sizing: The sizing is based on the waist size only. The BC Clothing Convertible pants need hemming the pants legs for proper fit. Which can add to the cost of these great Convertible pants

People may use these for hiking and all that but I’m telling you these are straight up dripThey’re super comfortable and all thatI went a size up for the baggy look but if you want high quality drip which can also be used conventionally then these are pants for youuuu

I bought a pair at REI over a year ago. I really like them except the belt kept loosening up, never mind how much I kept tightening it, and the pants kept sinking the more weight I put in the pockets. Think cell phone, wallet, keys, change, other stuff. I figure the pockets are there to use, right! Also unbuckling the belt was a pain. I kept wanting to press the sides but you press the front. Anyhow, I finally cut the belt off and replaced it with your average everyday leather belt. Genius! Works like a charm. My sincere thanks to the designers who fitted belt loops. These pants are practical, look and feel better than jeans, and feel okay in hot dry weather; think SoCal 90+degrees. I have not yet tried them in hot humid weather but I expect them to hold up well. The medium runs a tad big in the waist for me but the belt holds it snugly and it's no problem.

Great fitting convertible pants and a reasonable price.

The design is great. The fabric can take a beating, especially at the knees. If I had a wish, it would be for more belt loops. I typically remove the belt that comes with these pants and use my own. I've ordered more of these pants over the years. Never disappointed. Great for summer months. Great for fishing in Canada. I love them.

These pants are well designed with reference to the pockets. Somehow a dirty individual, possibly a Chinky or a elephant dung dancer substituted a cheap belt closure which is hard to close and comes open under light pressure. The closure I refer to is not defective. Its just cheap and lousy

Main criticism is that the sizing description is ambiguous. In my case, the fit is perfect. I’m 5’ 11”, 175 lbs with 34” waist. Their M32 size fits me perfectly. Pocket positions and size are perfect. Good stitching with no threads to tangle on keys.
