Sta Tru Steel Hub Front Wheel (16X1.75-Inch)

I bought these wheels because they were the cheapest available, and frankly, the quality/price ratio definitely shows. To their credit the two that I purchased were solid and unbent. However, the positives end there.Where the wheel was joined together (welded, I'm assuming) was left very jagged, to the point that it seemed likely that it would snag the inner tube and puncture it. I had to sand the area down on both wheels and cover it with duct tape before I felt comfortable putting the tube in.Furthermore, the bearings are not enclosed, so if you ever remove the bolts and axle the bearings just spill out in an oily mess, and you have to grab them and put them back in. I have never actually seen that before, but I'm guessing it was slightly cheaper than enclosed bearings.These wheels have not gotten much road testing yet, so I can't say much about their durability. So far they work, and I give them credit for that, but next time I need wheels I'll be looking elsewhere.

Worked great, nice improvement from what I had.One of the rims was not true, pretty wobbly for being brand new. But some places don't true their rims.

What’s pictured in the listing and what people show in the reviews is not what i received! I specifically needed a chrome wheel. The one in the ad is chrome and the ones i see in reviews are chrome but i ended up with a dull aluminum hoop! Definitely not happy! Buyer beware if you need chrome!

I put these on a bike trailer. With these wheels it pulls better and is quieter. They have more spokes than the old wheels and are made of good steel. Works great. I'm happy.

Im planing to restore my 80's BMX, for my little boy. Ive had problems finding wheels that fit the front fork. Received this wheel, and noticed the very poor Quality weld on the rim. When i go to spin the wheel i also notice that the wheel is not even true. I has a very bad wobble. Not sure if it could be adjusted with the spooks. I will have to use it, because i have no other option. I wound not buy a Sta-Tru steel wheel again.....

Looks good runs true. Chrome looks good . Nice wheel . Just what I needed . Would 100% buy again .

A solid wheel, bearings seem good so far. Shaft is 8mm x 1.25 thread in case anyone needs to know. Half the price of the local brick and mortar stores. Used two of these to resurrect a jog stroller that had been abused.
