The citric scent is very mild and almost neutral. It doesn’t leave any artificial fragrance on dishes or utensils. I also haven’t noticed any white residue or cloudy film on glasses, which has been an issue for me with other brands. As a small downside, very greasy or heavily soiled items sometimes need to be pre-rinsed or washed on a longer cycle to get the best results. It’s not a major issue, but worth mentioning. cleans really well, even grease and food build up however the grease will end up in your pipes so best to wipe the dishes before hand anyway. There will sometimes be some white residue left behind but it washes off easily with water.

So good that I bought a second bag! My dishes come out clean even though it’s one of those older dishwashers that don’t do the best job, but can get the job done if you have the right detergent. I also love that I’m not exposing my family to toxins. Just pop one into the detergent compartment and let it works it’s magic. Highly recommend!
