McFadden Farm Garlic Braid - 19 Bulb

I purchased this to replace an older one on my kitchen wall. My first was damaged in shipping, but a note to MxFadden Farms got a quick replacement and it is beautiful. the garlic is large and well braided. The braid weighs about 2.5 lbs. I've had a couple braids before because I like to hang them on my kitchen wall and this is the best I've seen. The garlic has roots intact, so I know it was grown in the U.S.Approximately 2.5 lbs. of healthy garlic on a solid and attractive braid, grown in the U.S... What more could you ask for?

The garlic braids arrived in a timely manner and the braid is tight and the bulbs are plump and fresh. The key is ordering the garlic as close to the time of harvesting as possible to ensure an excellent product. Not only that, but McFadden Farms included some samples of their dried herbs which I was not expecting. I thought that was a wonderful gesture on their part. I will order from them in the future, and if anyone out there uses a lot of garlic, this is a good purchase. So much of the garlic available in our grocery stores comes from China. I like the fact that it is decorative and that I can enjoy its beauty while I use it.

This came very well packaged, is great decor, and functional for cooking. I definitely plan to buy more as I finish this one and continue setting up my new kitchen.

Was excited when the garlic braid arrived. It was the right size and looked great. When I took off the net, realized that 3 garlic bulbs were rotten! No papers in box to return.

There definitely is a difference in garlic. This is fresh, really "garlicky", and so good. Highly recommended.

The braid was kind of molding. Had to cut off quite a few of the garlic heads in areas I had not counted on. So the braid now looks stupidly uneven. Dont know if the packaging was wrong so they got wet, because the paper was very moist. But dont know how that could have happened snce the outer packaging was plastic. Too bad. I was really looking forward to having a beautiful braid. Had to cut the bad oes off and throw away, they were rotted. So dont know if this is an old braid or what. But I am not satisfied for what I paid for it. too bad. Wont buy from them again. Will have to look else where.

The braid came in perfect shape, and this is by far the best way to buy garlic!
