Worth every penny
This sword is better than I expected, for the price. It was exactly as advertised. There were no surprises or flaws. A very nice sword.I wish it had a temper line but I knew it didn't. I was more interested in the folded design. The layers are easily seen without being overly bold. I liked that. There is no writing on the blade so it makes a great display.The scabbard is a little loose. I need to find the proper way to tighten it up. I'm quite happy with this sword.

It's definitely a nice piece. I only give it three stars because it did come with some scratches

Nice balance, well made, looks good.
Not having held a genuine Japanese high quality Wakizashi in my hands, I can only tell you that this is very sharp, has nice balance, good workmanship and appears to be a true damascus blade. So if you're not ready to spend thousands, this is a reasonable alternative.
