Compact knife block
I purchased a set of wusthof steak knives and ordered this block to go along with them. I don’t have a lot of counter space so this block was perfect. It is very compact and fits the knives perfectly.

Space saver
I needed to get my steak knives and paring knife set out of the utensil organizer for safety reasons and I don't have much space on my countertop so I purchased two of these blocks. These are slick little blocks that don't take too much space and look great. They are heavy so as to not tip every time I grab a knife and have little non-slip disks on the bottom. They were definitely worth the money. I like them!

Perfect!
Tired of getting my hands poked when reaching for my steak knives in the drawer, I wanted a small block in which to store them. I have 6 steak knives. This little block is PERFECT for my knives! Exactly 6 slots, small footprint, openings on the bottom for ventilation, rubber feet to keep it in place. Very small footprint on my countertop as well. A great investment for me.

Good, just small
Nothing wrong at all wrong with the quality, it's well-made, and nice small footprint so it doesn't take up a lot of counter space. But it is much smaller than what it looks like in the photo. I just bought some 4 1/2" steak knives, and it's too small to accommodate either the width of the blade or the length.

Have a 40 yr old Wusthof block for my chef's knives; needed a smaller one for paring/steak knives.
This is nearly a perfect match for the original chef's block.I use paring style knives for steak knives as well, so this works very nicely for that (and prevents damage putting them in a drawer rack), and since I have exactly six of them, an exact fit, too.As is, it sits vertically next to the big block, but I may relocate it to on top or to the side of it...but so happy with it I may just let it sit separately.Amazingly good deal for the money.

Great Knife Block
I needed something small to hold 6 very sharp steak knives. This was perfect! It sits on the counter and does not take up much room. It's sturdy and I love the natural wood look. Great little buy.

Solid wood block
Put six Cuisinart steak knives in it, and they fit very accurately. The wooden block looks solid and neat.
