Love these pencils
Narrow body and thick lead is a good combination. The point is very stable when carved to a sharp point, while the body can fit into crevices and small holes

Great for marking small holes and tight spaces.
Excellent for marking smaller holes. With other pencils you would only be able to make a dot when trying to mark smaller holes for drilling or mounting. With these you can actually mark a circle giving you more accuracy.

Not small enough
I tried to find out the size of these pencils before I purchased them but was unable to even on the Dixon website. I was hoping they were smaller, as some brackets have very small holes, and I like to mark where the screws need to be on the wall. I see now that the title has been updated to include the diameter of the pencil itself. If I had known that the pencils were 5mm I wouldn't have purchased. This is still bigger than I wanted.The lead diameter is 3mm. That's about the size I was hoping the pencils would be. This may be helpful for some marking needs, but these are not tiny enough to solve the really tricky things. Back to the drawing board...
