iPhone 5 & 5S Bike Mount Quick Release

This bike mount is very well engineered, very easy to clamp on and clamp-off from a bike handle bar or stem, and it holds my iPhone 5 securely in any posiiton I like. I bought it through Amazon, and the Amazon Prime 2-day delivery was solid as usual. I opened the package to find a very simple but solid little gadget. The bike-mount has a single levered-clamp set by a threaded turn-bolt, very similar to the quick-release mechanism on my bike's wheels. You lift the lever, rotate it to open the clamp, place the clamp over the handlebar, and then rotate the lever in either direction until it just begins to tighten. Then stop, and throw the lever down: that's it! I ride both a street racer and a cross-country mountain bike and it's very easy for me to snap-off one and snap-on the other. It holds my phone very securely, and the phone mount is equally well-engineered for easy snap-in/snap-out. I considered buying a model that had moisture protection, but they all involve placing the phone inside a plastic see-through pouch of one kind or another. It's sure to keep it dry, but lower the screen visibility. I bring a snack-size sealable plastic baggie on rides, so when it starts to rain I just snap out my phone, bag it, and snap it back in. All in all, I'm very pleased with my Quick Release Bike Mount. And it is SO COOL to have music, maps, phone and everything else at my fingertips when out for a ride!

I bought this 4 months ago and used it to bike and on the golf cart and I thought it was great but then the cradle that actually holds the phone to the mount started to pop off when I hit any kind of bump. Fortunately, the first time there was no phone in the cradle and I was able to pick up the cradle and reattach but the second time it happened it flew off the bike while I was driving down the highway and the cradle was permanently lost. If the maker could somehow permanently attach the cradle to the mount then this product would deserve five stars.

This looked like a good iPhone holder for my bike. The phone didn't fit. The company was prompt in accepting the return of the phone and giving me my money back.

This iPhone QR Mount was for my wife who needed a simple and inexpensive solution to mount her iPhone on her training bike. She liked everything about it until she had to remove the case from her iPhone 5 to lock the phone into this mount. I suppose that's normal - but she wasn't expecting the extra step, thus the 4 stars. Great value, quick installation - very intuitive. While this device is perfect for her intentions, I'd be concerned if she was riding on the roads with her $600 iPhone 5 and expecting it to stay on the bike. I know others have expressed confidence in prior reviews - but I ride 50-75 times per year on the roads of NJ. There is no way I'd rely on something like this on these roads. Great value for a specific use.

GREAT bike mount. I've tried several. There is one MINOR modification I made to it. The phone holder itself is made to remove from the frame clip. That's all well and good, but I found with this (and a previous similar clip system) that over rugged terrain, the phone and holder would disengage from the frame clip, and both would go hurtling to the street at 20 MPH. Not good for either. I found by adding a zip tie (the pink thing in the photo) that just went through the sliding mounting holes of the phone holder it was inhibited from being removed from the frame clip at all. No errant ejections after that. This Phone holder hangs onto the phone very well. The Frame clip holds on well, and easy easy to mount and unmount.

I bought this for my daughter that likes to have her IPhone making noise as we ride bikes. She has used this many times and no problems and easy to mount.

bought it for when I use my bike as a stationary. just used it the other day on the road and it holds very secure, no worries. can't use it with a case, but that's not an issue for me.only reason I'm not giving it 5 stars is it's vertical rotation adjustment is incremental. mine mounts on my handlebars at a slight angle, and I can rotate it which is nice, but it rotates in preset clicks, I can't set it at the exact angle, not a big deal but would be nice to clamp it off at any angle I need.

Fits my iPhone 5 snugly. Just what I was looking for. Easy to install. Buy this mount you won't be disappointed.
