This book has good content, but the Kindle format was very hard to navigate. When i read through a chapter, I had no idea how long or short it was, or how much further in the chapter I had to go, unless I reviewed the material before i read it. I disliked that unless I was on the chapter page with all the links I could not jump to particular sections of the text. I would have liked to have the "master chapter outline" outside of the text box in a navigation bar, for ease of use.I also disliked that the content was organized by "locations" instead of correlating pages to the physical text book. I disliked it because a book this size there are tens of thousands of "locations" that are in this book.The images that were in the book were in the Kindle edition, but all the charts and graphs were very small and low resolution, and some were barely readable. I would have liked to zoom into the images, to get information and detail, more so than the zoom feature they have for the text. Additionally, the bookmark feature was difficult to control and arbitrary. If I book marked a page, the book mark would only reference the first line of the page, not necessarily the content i wanted to reference. Plus I found it frustrating that neither the highlighting feature nor the notes feature did not work on this book.If you are getting this for a class, which I bet you are, I wold buy the electronic version from another company, with PDF style page references and more navigation control.

I'm always scepticle when using my bank card to make a purchase on the internet. But, I can count on amazon to conduct professional, fair business.A loose-leaf book was something that I didn't know what I was really purchasing because I never heard of loose-leaf before. I have found out that it means the pages are loose, and are not attatched to the spine of the book, so it is easy to take a page, or a chapter of pages out of the book to carry with me in a binder or folder. It is 99% lighter in weight than having to carry a whole book. From now on I will look to purchase loose-leaf textbook from amazon or other providers, rather than having to lug around the traditional bulky book. It not only saves you energy, but can also save time when it comes to looking for what you really need to study out of the book.

I found this to be a very engaging read. From the very start, Berger opens up her personal and professional life experiences as a mother, wife, career woman, professor and member of society, to teach and give clear examples of the theories she presents in the book. The book was an easier read, and very enjoyable because she gives such practical examples. I like how she refers back to earlier chapters and theories/ideas, to reinforce them and apply them to other sections of the book. I enjoyed the class for which this text was required, and I would highly recommend a course using this as a resource.

Bought used and was pretty much as described. Was a very large heavy book, but my daughter needed it for school. Given that it's a college book, the price really wasn't as bad as what I'm used to seeing. Thank you for that.

I took this class at an undergraduate level in a five week summer course online. For an online self-guided learning experience, this was an excellent textbook. It was easy and interesting to read. It had a lot of good information and good life applications and practical examples to help solidify the concepts. The book was very well organized and it was easy to find the information that you were looking for. I also bought the study guide with it which was a great help to review for tests.

Bought this for my daughter's psychology class since the school charges 3x this price. At first I was skeptical about buying a loose leaf book since the pages could go flying everywhere. But, it's easier for her to manage. She doesn't have to carry 10 lbs of books to class- just the chapter that they will be covering on that day. I wish they made more textbooks like this. Very ingenious. Same quality of paper and print as regular textbooks that have binding.

There's really not much to say about this product.I give it 5 stars because it arrived on time and was in good condition! There was a little wear and tear, but that's to be expected from a used book. Keeping that in mind, it still passed my standards with ease.The book was fairly expensive, but nearly all college books are. Due to that, I didn't allow the price to affect the rating and instead searched for the best deal I could find.

Excellent reference book for Uni and dare say for future development. Unbelieveable price and condition (as new) from this seller. Had to wait a while but well worth it. Material is in depth and yet easily accessible. An essential addition to Study and practice.

Really helped me ace my developmental class, all firsts and that is solely due to this book. If your doing a dev psych class then I would definitely buy this :)
