A Delightful Mystery
This cleverly written mystery features Mr. Pin, a detective who happens to be a penguin. The interesting cast of characters become endearing as the story progresses. Set in Chicago during a typically cold winter, the characters get involved in solving a mystery. The reader is pulled into the story through the likable characters and their exciting adventures, which include deciphering a mysterious code. Young readers, 2nd through 4th grade, who enjoy mysteries and/or detective stories are sure to love this one. I learned earlier Mr. Pin mysteries are available and hope that Ms. Monell will give us more!
