The Prime box arrived. Inside, a slimmer box holding the rod in its cloth bag.The inner box was damaged, but seemed superficial, a tear near one endand a partially torn middle seam. It was outer boxed, obviously damaged.When I withdrew the rod from the inner box it seemed OK, the foam and plasticin place. But when I withdrew butt section only half came out. I then fished out thebroken off remained of that sdection, didn't bother top look at the rest of the rod.I decided not to risk it again, so asked a return of funds.

This is my second Rod. Both are great. Cast well, enables you to mend line well- I use both for Steelhead fishing

I needed a multi part rod but a long one and this filled the bill.
