Lee Women's Petite Relaxed Fit All Cotton Straight Leg Jean

I really want 100% cotton jeans. I'm sick of all the plastic garbage waste (that's what spandex and polyester are), and I want clothing that maintains its appearance for longer.The 100% cotton denim fabric of the Lee Women's Petite Relaxed Fit All Cotton Straight Leg Jean met my expectations. These aren't the rugged, heavyweight denim of earlier decades, but a comfortable, mid- to lighter-weight fabric that should hold up to suburban or urban life. (You'll want to keep looking if you're actually wrangling cattle or fixing barbed wire fences, I think.)These Lee cotton jeans fit as expected in the hip/thigh for the size, but the waist is too large for me and gaps at the back. I had hoped these would fit more like the Riders by Lee jeans that have some stretch. THOSE work pretty well for a curvy woman. (My waist is probably a 12 these days, whereas I take a 16 to fit my hips in a standard, straight-ish style of pants.)I got these and the Levi's Women's "Low Pro Jeans" in the same order. I'm returning these, and keeping the Levi's. They aren't perfect either, but at least they approximate fitting my waist. (In spite of the name, and being labeled a "mid" rise, the Levi's Low Pro are fairly high in the rise, but cut "baggy" so I could order by waist size and get enough room in the hip and thigh.)

Thought I ordered ‘ short’ but ‘petite’ came instead. The difference is- - short is regular fit with legs at top of my ankle- - - petite is a slimmer cut with longer legs of about 1 inch and lower on waist than short regular. I might need to take for alterations to hem leg seams up an inch. Could roll for cuffs but these Lee jeans wouldn’t look good that way- some brands are okay with cuffs, just not these.

These jeans are the perfect length for me. The fabric is stiff, but not uncomfortable to wear. The jeans soften up a bit after wearing and washing. The waist is tight, but I stretch the waistband after laundering, and let the jeans air dry, that makes the waist fit better. The fabric is so stiff that I'm concerned about not being able to unbutton them, so I leave them unbuttoned.

Great real old school denim that is hard to find. Size plastic strip residue on leg, should only occasionally wash denim so very un-desirable. Sits a little high, right at slightly above belly button. Overall happy to find a brand still making true denim.

Like the fabric. They do loosen up too much after wearing them only once.

These jeans were okay, I like the fact that they were 100%cotton but that's about it. They set low on the hips. I think I'll stick with my Wranglers.

Finally a pair of jeans that fit just right and are 100% cotton... just as I remember! Well made, good quality heavy-ish cotton. I've been looking for mid-rise, 99%-100% cotton jeans with 29in length (ordered petite, size 2). This pair meets them all. I washed them in cool water and dried them in low heat. I wore them immediately out of the drier. They give a bit after using them, but I'm fine with that. I'm very pleased with my purchase. They only con is that sizing is a bit inconsistent. I guess it depends on the manufacturing batch. I bought two pairs and had to exchange one because it didn't fit. The replacement fit just fine - keep that in mind.

Excelentes pantalones. Mido 165mts (5.4 pies) y suelo medir de cintura 26 a 27 pulgadas. La talla 4 me quedo perfecta y holgada. Usaba mucho antes jeans Levis pero pierna recta nada más y me ha resultado muy complicado encontrarlos. No me gustan los jeans apretados. Creo que Lee será mi nueva marca de jeans de cajón.

Ordered my regular size 6. Well made. They fit fine in the hips/waist/length until I washed and put them in the dryer. There was quite a bit of allover shrinkage. I hadn't noticed they were 100% cotton when I bought them so beware: they will not stretch with your movements but will stretch out a little after wearing them a couple of times. They will dig into your gut when you sit. If you do buy them, buy 1-2 sizes larger. Very uncomfortable.

I ordered two pair of these jeans in the same size on the same date.Each pair was sent from a different location on a different date.The first pair was sent by courier. They arrived as scheduled. The jeans I received looked nothing like the pair shown on Amazon. The jeans were baggy and fit poorly. The waist band of the jeans was puckered elastic and lined with a striped cotton fabric. There were no rear pockets on the jeans.The second pair was sent by regular mail. I was advised they would be delayed. The second pair looked like the pair shown on Amazon and fit much better. This pair did not have an elastic waist and did have back pockets.For various reasons, it was not convenient for me to return the jeans. I have kept both pairs but will use one pair only for working in the garden/yard.
