OtterBox STRADA SERIES Case for iPhone SE (3rd and 2nd gen) and iPhone 8/7 - Retail Packaging - SHADOW (BLACK/PEWTER)

Have always used the Defender Series for my cell phones. Was time to try something less bulky. This Strada Series fit the ticket. However it does not come with the see through screen protector. Was able to purchase a stick on from Amazon that has to be the best one I have ever used from JETech.I like the slimness and the fold over magnatised cover the Strada has. My only complaint is when driving if you should get a call flipping the cover open to answer the phone can be difficult. Also a distraction while trying to drive. Simple solution is I now make sure the cover is opened before driving. The stick on screen protector from JETech keeps the screen safe. I have yet to lose a phone from damage that has an Otterbox case. I have already dropped my current phone a number of times with this Strada case. The cover and part of the back case are magnetic. Apple has a bulletin on how a magnetic field may compromise the focus on the phone camera. I haven’t experienced any issues with this Strada case. The cover has 2 slots for credit cards. Have not used them because of the magnetic field. It is my understanding the magnetic field may alter the card useless because of the magnetic strip on the card. Over all happy with this case. Would buy again..

Inserting the iPhone was easy. The case is neat, seems sturdy, of good quality. I like having the screen protected. Excellent.

I needed a phone case that would stand up to hard use at work. This works, slides in and out of a pocket easily, designed well and tough. Only complaint is that to open the case it takes a little work. I marked mine so I would always know where the top is for quicker access.

I'm now on my 4th Strada case. I've used them on my iPhone 6s and now on my 2nd gen iPhone SE. They have a nice look and feel and fit the bill pretty well for a folding case that can hold a couple of cards so you can use it as you wallet on days you can get by with just a couple cards.Pros: Protects your phone well with solid main case that extends above screen level a fair amount and the screen cover protects the screen well (when it stays in place). Good looking and nice grip with the leather cover.Cons: Compared to the older model, they have switched the orientation of the card slot from vertical to horizontal. On the older model it was nearly impossible for cards to slip out as long as the folio was closed. Now it is possible for them to slip out the top even when closed. When the case is new cards fit in the slots snugly and this isn't much of a danger but after a few months of use the card slots loosen up and cards can slip out easily. Again the case fits phone perfectly at first, nice and snug. But it does loosen up after a few months. Not to the point it will pop out, but it gets a bit of a sloppy feel after a while. Another downside is the hidden magnet that keeps the folio closed or fully open doesn't hold it closed very tight... and in time the magnet can break loose and not work at all. I replaced a case on my 6s for this reason. Also the magnet works less well when you have cards in the holder.Despite the downsides, this is a nice case. I just really wish Otterbox would switch back to vertical slots for the card holder.

I am glad I took a chance on this case for my new 2023 iPhone SE. It fits my phone perfectly, and offers great protection, yet still looks very sleek and business-like. I've dropped my phone a few times already, and not a scratch on it, especially since you have protection from the front and the back. Well worth the price!

It is perfect for phone safety, durability and slim enough to slip it into the pocket of my running skirts.EXAMPLE of Durability:I dropped/lost my phone once and we found it the next day. It had have fallen out of my pocket into the yard. It spent the night in the grass and endured all the water from the sprinkler system! The case was water-logged but the phone and my cards were unharmed ♥️ From any water damage.The case dried out *but I really should order a new one.Lastly: The cover provides enough space for personal info and also used for some privacy when you are with others.Highly recommend

My 5-year-old iPhone 6s gave up the ghost for being dropped and smashed too many times. For my new iPhone SE, I wanted enough protection that a simple drop on the driveway was not going to do it in, but I didn't want it so protected that it was a royal pain in the butt to use. Also, since last year's "virus difficulties," I no longer carried a purse and wanted something more secure than my jeans pocket to hold my credit card and license.This phone case has it all. The phone is completely enclosed in the case, but the top opens like a "door" with a small magnetic closure as a "latch." The phone is simple to access, there is no difficulty plugging in a charging cable, the buttons on the phone work flawlessly under the case's adaptations for them, the camera is easy to use, AND there is a slit inside this "door" with enough room to insert a credit card and license snuggly and securely. If you want, you can also open the door and wrap it completely to the other side of the phone, and the magnetic latch will hold the door open so you don't have to have the door flopping around while you are using the phone. (The only drawback to THAT is that you can't take a picture with the door opened and latched/attached to the front like that--you have to unattached the door from the latch and hold it open. Not as big a deal as I would have expected, though.)

I *love* this case. The materials and design are so elegant, and it holds up really well. I've had it for a few years now and have no complaints!
