Mixed thoughts on this one
The product does what it is supposed to do which is good. The problem I have with it, for a couple of hundred bucks you think they could protect the metal in shipping. Mine is scratched up as you can see from the first picture. It is disappointing. Put some plastic wrap or paper on the metal.I also had to modify the velcro due to the folding stock on my shotgun. Not a universal fit so check what you are carrying against what it can hold.

Very high quality products!!
I have purchased from this company before and was very impressed with the quality. That is the reason I didn’t hesitate to buy again. I’m very happy with my purchase again.

would buy again with some caviates
Purchased this for my four door jeep with a hardtop. Spent a while determining what would work for the tight space in the front of the jeep. Determined after trying everything that for my use it is best flipped upside down from the directions placing the rifle above the bar. this makes the forward set of hangars useless but didn't really care about that anyway. The rifle sits between the roof and the top of the steel bar nicely. You cannot see it unless you stick your head inside the jeep window and look up which is nice. This configuration may not work for your weapon though as we use it for a bullpup 5.56 and its rather short although don't know that a long rifle would matter. Can keep the magazine etc on the rifle while in the rack. This thing seems well built and we used lock tight before tightening it up. We did trim some of the foam covers on the roll bar to allow contact with the roll cage directly on the bracket. Comparable products for the jeeps didn't fit our needs and this one, with a little fiddling, seems to be just what the doctor ordered. Have been driving around with it for a while now and have had no issues. Would buy again.

Simple design
Simple enough. I did not like how it would knock regardless of how tight you made it. Solved this issue by wrapping electrical tape around the end of the threads until it could barely fit in the tube.Doesn't give the rifles very much support from moving around. I think a little more customizing is in order.

Holds the guns well and easy to install.
I love this gun rack. I can install or remove it in under three minutes with a 1 1/8" wrench or crescent wrench. What Jeep Wrangler accessory is that easy? Before my guns would just bump around in back with the rest of my camping gear. Holds the guns really well without rattling. We put a lot of miles on bumpy, rutted four wheel drive trails this past hunting season and I would even forget the guns were above my head. With my TJ Wrangler hardtop I found I had room to install the spreader bar so the gun clips were on the top of it and I had much more head room (I'm 6' 2"). This is definitely worth the money.

This is a 3 star product. It works but I don't love it.
The overall design of this is simple enough and it's easy to install. You can install it several ways but each option brings a series of problems with it. You can hold the guns above the bar but they end up being so close to the roof of the jeep that you have to put padding above them to keep your guns from rubbing against the roof of your hard top. I caught some rubbing before it ended up putting a hole in a brand new hard top but if you aren't paying attention that could easily happen on a long trip. Also if you mount them that way, the velcro straps are hard to fasten and release. I tried mounting this a few ways before I decided the pros and cons of this method would work the best for me.If you flip the rack the other direction the guns hang too low for an adult in the back seat to be comfortable. If you hang them with the guns above the bar they are VERY difficult to see from outside the vehicle without going up to the window and looking up into the roof area. There are 4 ways you can mount the brackets to the bar which will hold the guns in various distances above the seat and below the roof. I feel like a slightly better design would be if they bent the horizontal bar a little bit to allow you to mount the guns above the bar, but a little farther below the roof of the vehicle so they don't make contact.Using folded paper towels as shims between the places where the guns would rub against the roof holds them in nice and tight and keeps them from rattling and causing damage though.I honestly don't know if there's a better option for a Jeep Wrangler gun rack so I am keeping it, but I feel like it could be improved and I would buy a better rack if I ever see one with a better design.

Good, but could be improved
I like this alot, however with a couple minor design changes I think it would be even more sturdy. Over though, happy with this.

It works
Works well, holds firearms in place easily. Does need to be tightened ever so often. Little high on the price side for what it is. But not many options out there.
