I've been using this type of cable for years and it has a good durability

I know some people think you have to spend a lot of money to get a good cable, while others think that the inexpensive cables are all they need. Well, these cables are perfect for the budget minded who want quality.. They tend to stand up to my abuse and at the same time have a good look feel and sound quality. They also coil up nice for when it's time to move, or just keep the studio tidy.. over all.. I like em.

This Fender California cable is awesome. Very well made. Sturdy, cool colors, and most of all, they work great. Should hold up well over time, given the beefy construction of the cable. Good job, Fast Amazon delivery, as usual.

One end plugs into the guitar... the other end plugs into the amp. Play guitar, sound comes out of amp. What more could you ask from a cable? I had an employee once that was a high-end audiophile, he'd buy $500 cables and swear he could hear the nuances in the tone, I never heard any difference whatsoever. Same with this cable. It just works.

I like about everything Fender, and I like this cord. The problem is, what makes it so strong, tuff and durable also makes it ridged and ridged cords don't lay so well. I cant tell you how many times I've tripped over this cord or put a foot right through a loop. I've had other ridged cords but not so much as this one. I only use cords at practice, rehearsals or during studio work so yes it does the job. However I would never use this during a show or on any live stage! It does its job but be careful and don't get caught in a loop and trip. It would be a shame to trip and lose a guitar to the hard floor!

I recently got a bass guitar. It was a cheap beginner package, and the included amp cable caused a lot of feedback. I grabbed this Fender cable and MOST of the feedback was eliminated. I then replaced the amplifier, and with the included cable with the package I was still getting a lot of feedback. However, with the replacement amplifier and the Fender cable, the feedback was completely gone.I would say that the cable is a very good quality piece, especially compared with the stuff that comes with "all inclusive" beginner sets.It also looks cool, which may or may not be important to you!!Highly recommended.

Well made cable with a braided shield instead of a spiral twist shield. It is flexible but maybe not as flexible as a cord with a rubber jacket. However it will be used for a keyboard so that is not a factor. The connectors are well made with shrink tubing for extra insulation and to provide some strain/flex relief at the connectors.
