Great fun for us and the squirrels
The squirrels love it ! Took 2 days for them to start using it . Now ever morning about 9 am its non stop. There is one female who has claimed it as hers, so they do fight over it sometimes but not for long. We have a branch that we hung it from its pretty high up so we bought a dog chain with clips on each end , wrapped it around the branch and clipped it. Then hung the chain down to where it would be the right height . We cut the chain and took off the clip and put it on the end the hanging chain . Then the chain that came with it I opened up the link with a pair of pliers attached it to the dog chain where the clip is closed it back up . It worked great ! Now as they get used to it I can raise it higher so they dont hit the ground when they jump on it. Its awesome to watch while I drink my coffee from the deck .

Amusing
The product is as expected with the exception that there was no hook included. The miniscule zip ties don't do the job of holding the apparatus to the pole. On the upside this is really fun to watch the squirrels bungee jump

Practice with location and you will have a fun feeder
It works. We actually don't have a strong squirrel population in our area so I haven't minded trying to attract them. I dabbed a little peanut butter on the cobs to start. It took a while to get the squirrels interested, but then one guy came and ate 1.5 cobs in a month. We have rather mature trees, so I used some chain and zip ties to get a place to hang this. Otherwise it was too high from the ground or too close to the trunk. I think it is positioned a little too difficult and I am thinking about moving it up into the tree. (Hang between two limbs). It will make it a little easier for the squirrels to reach from the bottom, but also add the 'danger' of being up in the air. This works, but location is key. Too hard to get to and they won't try, too easy and they will eat. Also remember to keep sprinklers in mind. But I will say, it does support a squirrel weight and the cobs stay on with no issue. If you have taller branches (mature trees) you might have to use additional material to hang it. I am pleased with the purchase but will continue to test locations to find the best place to see if I can turn this into a regular feeding location. The few squirrels in our area have access to an easy feed station a few house away, so I don't think they are tempted to work as hard during the summer when the neighbor is handing out treats with no work.Overall well made product. While the green bungee cloth might degrade overtime, I believe I will get many years out of this feeder.

I love it!
The media could not be loaded. I love it, but I wish the chain were a little longer and the zip tie a bit stronger (a deer yanked it from my tree last night, but I tracked it down!). Other than that, I love it. I have it lower to the ground now so that I could get rid of the beautiful storage container that they needed for a boost. It definitely is entertaining! Hint: the squirrels go nuts for peanut butter if you spread a little on the corn.

Caught me a coon.
I didn't have a low to the ground place to hang this where I could see the action so I hung it from a high branch over another feeder so the squirrels would have something to fall back onto. I never got the full on bungee action out of it as the squirrels just kind of reached up to grab the cobs and never really had to jump on it to get it. This was due to my own height of hanging, not the squngee itself. I'm sure it would work fine if I'd hung it as instructed. It is very bouncy and the corns stay on very well. Even though I didn't get to see the squngee at work it was still fun to see the squirrels stretched and reaching and trying to figure out how to get the corn. When the corn gets eaten too far up the cob they jump back and forth from tree to tree trying to figure out how to get the rest. It keeps them busy. Now for the real fun! The instructions say to put a little peanut butter on the cobs to attract the squirrels. The day we got and hung the squngee my daughter comes running upstairs after sunset to tell me a HUGE squirrel was eating the corn. One with a black face and a striped tail. It was a huge raccoon. We've named him George Cooney. I stopped putting peanut butter since I don't want to encourage him but he still comes back nightly to check out the squngee!

Chunk love corn, but afraid of bouncy
Chunk, our outdoor pet squirrel, absolutely loves the corn, but isn't quite the daredevil we'd hoped he'd be. He will (literally) bend over backwards and hang from a branch to try to get the corn on this, but we have yet to see him actually leap and hang and bounce on the feeder. We have to put the corn in the tree for him to eat it. Hopefully he'll take the leap soon!

Entertaining for people *and* squirrels
This is probably one of the most entertaining toys I've purchased in recent history, and it's become a hit with the squirrels too. I already had a more traditional squirrel feeder up, but with a dozen regulars and several more part-time visitors there's a lot of congestion/competition for the main feeder. Figured the squngee might provide a fallback nibble for the critters and a bit of entertainment for me. A couple of squirrels picked up on how the squngee worked within a day or two, but it took several weeks for the majority of the population to grasp the concept. Started it out low, followed the suggestion of occasionally smearing a little dab of peanut butter on the cobs to encourage investigation, and as the squirrels got accustomed to it started raising the corn up higher. Six months later the corn's a couple feet off the ground, nobody needs any peanut butter bribery, and everyone's become quite adept at riding the squngee. And I'd swear that several of them truly get a kick out of it - instead of just jumping on from directly underneath, they come sprinting across the yard and leap sideways onto the cobs so they end up swinging back and forth as well as bobbing up and down. At least for me and my squirrel population, this is something that gets used every single day, rain, snow, or sunshine.

Months of entertainment!
This squngee is durable enough to keep the corn on securely and makes the animals (more than just squirrels!) work for their food. It lasts through months of entertainment!

Entertaining!
The squirrels and birds love to eat the hanging corn. I used a spare key ring to hang mine from the shepherd's hook in my garden.

Entertaining!
Squirrels will provide a lot of free (almost) entertainment for a prize. Good way to use leftover or stale corn.

Entertaining
It may take a few weeks until the squirrels come on a regular basis. Once they figured it out the fun starts.
