Venture Gear Howitzer Safety Glasses

These have a feel and look of quality. One thing I noted right away, is the clear vision in bright sun, and the ability to still see your smartphone without removing them - smartphone is a bit shaded, but, for a quick look, it works. fit around the eyes and face is tight, these are not cheap feeling. I'm tough on sunglasses and I'll be buying a couple more sets as they are great for shooting and driving, etc.

These are the greatest value for high-velocity rated impact lenses, absolutely terrific. The only issue is that the nosepiece isn't very soft so they can get uncomfortable after a while. Still definitely worth it though.

The build quality is great. The fit is great. The light filtering is great. Just don't wear them too close to your eyes, your eyelashes will scratch the lenses. Obviously that's a little sarcastic, but for a safety rated pair of glasses, don't wear them while working, sweating, or while doing any activity where they might get dirty or touched by anything but the micro fiber cleaning cloth they come with. Even then, rinse them off before you clean them, the dust on them will scratch the lens while cleaning them. Been through two different pairs of VG glasses, both have the same problem.

They are sunglasses. It does what it's told.

Everything I wanted. Fit and feel great, look great, lenses are rated to take a beating. Awesome everyday sunglasses that I can also shoot in or work on things in and feel safe. Will be buying more VG shades when it comes time.

Can't goive the a negative star. Not scratch resistant. They should say scratch MAGNET!

These sunglasses are great, the lenses are really dark even for gray, my favorite sunglasses for now, would be nice for a black frame and black lense if they had it.
