New 2018 Diamondback Cobra 24 Complete Youth Bike

Bought this for my son last Xmas. I know how to work on bikes so it was pretty easy to setup and saved about $100 from buying from a bike store. Prior to this bike, had always bought non-name brand cheap bikes since they outgrow them so often. Since this bike will last a while, wanted a bike that was brand new.Really high quality, looks beautiful paint. My son was very pleased. Comes in bike box and was not damaged in spite of being shipped, good protection. Great design b/c seat can be very low so they get used to being higher off the ground. Had no issues with the assembly or adjustment process. For those who don't know how to work on bikes, I'd recommend to just go to bike store and pay $300 for a bike that someone else had assembled. For those who know a bit and want to save the assembly cost, this is a great option to get a quality bike for less.I have special bike tools to assemble/disassemble bikes and I didn't need any of them for this bike build. They include the wrench for the pedals, etc. They also have a bike assembly guide, which I didn't read. Bought a girl version for my daughter had had same great experience.

Great buy. Great quality. We bought this as a reward for our son doing good in homeschooling, and he loves it. No kick stand, which isnt a bad thing, one can easily be installed. It takes a mid-mounted kick stand if you prefer one. It even comes with tools to assemble the bike, which took 15 mins. Front wheel, seat/saddle, handle bars are simple to put on.

Good bike, however it turns out to be a bit small for my son who is 4ft 9inches tall. I bought this based on a size/height guide. I wonder can bigger tires be fitted onto this as it would certainly be easier for my son. He now prefers to use my wife's bike rather than his own as it is just that bit bigger with the frame just a bit bigger and larger wheels.The only reason this didnt get 5 out of 5 was for the sizing reason as its a very good bike and was easy enough to put together out of the box.

10-year-old boy loves it. Now he can keep up with this older brother's mountain bike.

Very well built! My 10 yr old son got it for his birthday and loves it. Now he can easily keep up on family rides.
