now do not get me wrong, this comforter is fabulous, but it does shed long silky 'hairs' . for the cost this should not be. got a cover for it and that solved problem, but still.

I wanted a very high-value comforter and I purchased it but what I did not realize is that this thing can only be hand washed only, not dry clean not put in the washing machine none of the above if you have a dirty spot just spot treat.I just wanted to say after using this comforter for over a month now, This is the best dam comforter I ever had, something with the organic wool an organic cotton helps me sleep easier.

Real review. No regrets. very lightweight and warm. feels soo soft and comforting. I got the perfect comfort for a cold climate and it seems to be sufficient. I wish it were cheaper, but it seems to be in line with the rest of the wool blanket market.

I'm really impressed by the quality of this comforter! The materials and the stitching are meticulous. Based on the fact that another wool comforter that I own is a bit lighter in weight than I prefer, I ordered the Extra Warmth version of this one from Holy Lamb Organics. Big mistake -- it's SO incredibly thick and warm that I my daughter refuses to use it since she gets too hot! This would be perfect for winter camping or use in the winter in a home without central heat. But for anything above 50 degrees, it's too much! I'll order another one in the regular weight and save this one for extra cold weather only.*Note: I only review products that I have purchased and paid for myself.*

Wasn’t really sure how this would feel as there aren’t retailers who carry Holy Lamb’s wool comforter where I live. However, it has the warmth of a hug! With or without another blanket on top, it’s still perfect! Wool regulates body temperature and its really doing the trick. My pets love it and have been snuggling on the bed now as they didn’t before with my down comforter. Another great issue is that it’s a fair practice that doesn’t harm the animals. I’ll never buy down again! Love this wool blanket!

Keeps me warm, but the wife is still cold and we bought the extra layer of thickness.Have to keep shopping for something that keeps her warm.

Beautifully made comforter. I got the Extra Warmth version. I live in the SF Bay Area. For me it's a perfect weight/warmth. I put a really nice flannel cover over it and it looks great! It shipped more quickly than promised and arrived perfectly. Packaged with no plastic - wrapped with strips of cloth that I reused to tie up and store the down comforter that I am now not using currently. Much much prefer this comforter!

Love, love love this! I did a lot of research on wool comforters before I bought this and I wish I got it sooner. I went from using four or more cotton and fleece blankets to just my sheet and this comforter. It is so comfortable and it keeps me from getting cold. My spouse gets hot all the time and he has no complaints either. Highly recommend!!
