Joe'S Flies Short Striker Potomac Coachman #101 Size 8

This lure is the "f"-ing best. I took this out on a recommendation from a list and it is easily my go to lure in my tackle. Trout in Colorado lakes are super finicky, but on the second cast of the day, I pulled in a 11" rainbow. Every cast after, I got hits. Caught six trout on this thing.Only downside is that it needs to be sharpened right out of the package, so use a hook hone. Or just set the h*ll out of the hook, but be careful about it flying at you with a smart fish that knows how to spit; had that happen once today, but only three fish wiggled it free.BUY THIS LURE.

Came quickly and caught plent of trout when I vacationed in Tennessee.

I had a hell of a time finding this lure both in store and online. Really excited to fish with it as I have heard great things. Quality of the life seemed to be great.

I love the small single hook above the treble. I like to put a small sliver of beef liver on the single as an attractant which doubles or even triples the strikes. I caught a nice little, wild, lake cutthroat today but switched to a little piece of freeze-dried beef liver from a doggy snack package. I recommend having two or three of the Potomac Coachmans in your pocket tackle box as they will become indispensable.
