Brilliant! Kept my horses drinking for a 3 day haul.
Love Redmond equine products. I got this for traveling my horses from OR to TX, and it kept them slurping down their water the whole trip! Added a bit to their water starting the week before the trip, helps keep the flavor and smell consistent while adding mineral and electrolyte benefits. My horses stayed happy and hydrated the whole time!

After Changing the Way I Feed it, I love it!!
OK, after tinkering with this product, I have found that I do not need to put it directly into the water. Instead, I actually top dress the grain with 1/2 of a little scoop and my horses eat it right up! Now they are all drinking very well even on cold days!!! My big issue was my horses not drinking on the road or on cold days. I first tried to add it to the water as the packaging describes and it was a no go. But I still had a bag of it so I wanted to see how I could make it work as I liked the ingredients offered. I started just adding a little to their feed then ramped up to 1/2 a scoop. They now all drink on the road and at home. They drink on cold days as well. They will even drink "away water" meaning I am not having to keep home water in the trailer. Pleasantly surprised by this! No more high sugar electrolytes or sticky pastes! Give it a try!My horse doesn't like it. Actually, 5 of my horses don't like it. I have some picky kids and thought this would help them drink on the road. Nope. They don't like it.

If your horse does not like the tqste at first, start with a small amount and work up.
Rein water works so well! My OTTB went down from dehydration 2 years ago and my vet suggested adding salt to his daily feed. I already used Redmond rock as a salt lick but thought I would try this. He and my mare were not too keen on the taste at first so I added it slowly to our drinking trough. They now drink it up and we have had no more dehydration issues. It also helps with drinking away from home.

Big improvement
I have a senior mare that has always been a "light" drinker. She is a "diva" when it comes to her water source. Because she is in a boarding facility, adding this to a stock tank is not an option, so I started to add it to her complete feed and other supplements. She readily ate the Rein Water along with her feed. And, she is NOTICEABLY drinking more water and on our last overnighter, she finished bucket after bucket.I am really happy that I don't have to worry about her water intake anymore. I use about 1/2 scoop in her feed. Highly recommend this product.

It works!
I have a horse that doesn’t like to drink as much water as he should. Since I started using this his water consumption per day has doubled. I will always have this at the barn.I will say that two of my other horses took almost a month before they started really drinking it but I just kept it in their pasture and now they drink it just like he does. So if your horse doesn’t seem to like it right away give him some time

Horses love it!!
My horses prefer this over their Ritchie waterer without it! And because it’s so good for them and contains so many minerals of the earth I love that they love it! Company provides excellent customer service and will answer all your questions about their product!!
