Pleasant Taste Plus Fluoride
The "Tom's of Maine Natural Simply White Fluoride Toothpaste Clean Mint" has a pleasant but not very strong mint flavor. To its merit, it has no artificial sweeteners. It does have sodium lauryl sulfate as an ingredient. There is some debate as to the desirability of SLS.This toothpaste also contains sodium fluoride. My water supply, from a well, has not been fluoridated. Using a fluoride toothpaste can be beneficial. WebMD supports using fluoride. They say: "Using fluoride toothpaste is an important way to ensure that your teeth are reaping the benefits of this dental-friendly mineral."
