Does what it claims
This was my first Pelican case, and it performed just as I expected it to. I use this case with the padded dividers and the lid organizer for my photography/video/electronic equipment. I used it recently on a week long trip to Kenya, and brought it as my carry-on (the max carry-on size was a big factor in my choosing this case). The case did its job and protected all of my gear, mainly from the dust. I can't comment on the waterproof capability, but I'd feel confident if it was left out during a rainstorm, I wouldn't need to worry. The case is a bit heavy, but that's the price you pay for this kind of protection. The two lock holes can accommodate your typical padlock, but you can also fit a small TSA-approved combo lock, but not by much. My only complaint is when using it as a rolling case. The pull-out handle may as first feel flimsy, but its strong and I had no problems. My gripe is that the wheels are fairly small and when making an abrupt turn, the high center of mass makes the case want to flip over on its side. However, the wheels need to be small because the housings are recessed into the case to maintain the max allowable dimensions.Like I said, this was my first Pelican case, but it will certainly not be my last.

Perfect carry-on
I fly twice a month on a domestic route that spans over three separate flights. Even though the case is heavy for it's size, it's manageable inside the planes. On smaller planes like Fairchild Metroliners, I will obviously sky check it. Most of the time, the case goes in the overhead bin. I usually fly on Bombardier Q400 and CRJ 705, Airbus A319 and Embraer 175. In a Dash 8-100, even tough it fits underneath the seat, it's not very pleasant for the passenger sitting next to you. It's narrow enough that you can roll it in the isle without banging everywhere. The inside compartments are well thought out. My work laptop - Dell Latitude E6420 - fits perfectly in the lid's sleeve. I can pack shoes, shorts, t-shirts and a hoodie with room to spare in the main compartment. Once everything is in, It's a tight fit, but with the twin zip cover, you are sure cloths won't fall off when you open you case in hurry at the security checkpoints. The handle has a little bit of play, but my mind is at peace with Pelican's warranty.Last point, the olive drab color is very nice.

Purchased as a rugged carry-on for portable desktop PC build.
I bought this case to safely transport my custom desktop in a Silverston SUGO SG-05BB-450W case. Unfortunately the curvature inside the case eats into the usable vertical limit. The computer case is 11 by 8.5 inches and I hoped to carry the PC with the long side in the 11 inch portion of the case. I have to turn the computer case sideways but that worked out fine because my other components fit without issue and I have room for a full length keyboard in this configuration. It is on the heavy side because it is sturdy, I weigh 200 lbs and can stand on it without crushing the contents. When wheeling it, I did slide the case a little on the feet and concrete wore away a small amount of the material. This could be a long term concern. I think this would be an excellent spot for metal feet.Pictures can be found on the BuildAPC reddit subforum under the title "Deployable ITX".

Great product as always from Pelican
I have used this on two trips via airlines. Works just as intended, holds everything I have for it. I did purchase it with the dividers and am not using them to they use up precious space within. Otherwise it is more secureable than my old Samsonite that I carried for 7 years. Weather proof is a good thing and takes abuse better.Pros to this case:I have used it for a nice seat when I have been somewhere there is no chairs or seating available. Cant say that this a selling point.Spacious and with the gasket seal, weather tight. I use mine for traveling and holding my network, software, and laptops in it.TSA friendly!!!!! The two trips I have been on so far with it, get sent thru the screening with minimal questions. (Now that I said that, I bet i get scanned)Cons to this case is:Small wheel base so tend to not be stable if you are turning quickly. Is heavy to carry and since I am using mine to hold a laptop and other network components in it, fully packed, it has some weight to it.Would recommend this to anyone that travels alot, will take abuse and keep on moving.\

Love It
Outstanding all the way around. Flies wonderfully with zero issues fitting into the overhead on even the small regional jets. I should have bought this a long time ago. I feel far more confident with my gear in this vs. a backpack bag. Makes a good step stool or sitting stool too. Used it to stand on shooting runway shows at NY Fashion Week which allowed me to get above some of the large TV cameras that were on the riser in front of me. I'm surprised by how much I can pack in this thing: 2 Canon 5DM3's, 70-200 2.8, 24mm Tilt-Shift, 100mm macro 2.8, 50mm 1.4, 13in Mac Book and power brick/cables, wall wart, batteries, some cleaning stuff, speed light, and a few odds and ends. This has become the permanent home for my main kit now and I only use the bag when I'm doing nature / landscape work where I'm hiking, need to take a decent amount of gear, and can't drag this behind me. Worth every penny.

Safe Storehouse and workhorse for camera gear.
An excellent safe case for your camera gear or any light electronic gear for that matter. It won't be your only camera case, but it'll be your safe storehouse and workhorse. Keep a small lightweight carry bag for shoots where you won't need access to all your gear. But this as a base and travel case - can't beat it.

Pelican 1510 Flyer
I have not traveled with it yet but it seems very strong, it would be a 5 star rating if the latches had been designed better. I was trying to decide between the larger one and this one due to overall weight so I comprised on size to keep weight lower for airline travel.

Amazing camera bag
This is the best thing I’ve bought for my career. As a photographer this is a great case for the standard kits. In mine I fit: laptop, tether cord, laptop cord, 2 lacie hard drives, 2 lenses, flash, batteries, chargers, 2 camera bodies. The foam is easy to cut out and everything is so well padded and secure. It is heavy to lift but it is very light when on the wheels. Highly recommend this. Also the beige is a cool colour.

製品は間違いない、付属する物も含めてもう少し安価で有れば良かったです。車輪がもう少し大きければ一層使いやすいと思います。

Dissapointed & Returned
It is not that the 1510 is a necessarily a bad product on it's own, but when compared with the Nanuk cases I own and ended up replacing this one with, the quality just isn't there. This is particularly evident in the accessories such as the lid organizer.
