You will struggle to find as pleasant a coffee at a similar price. It is a perfectly tasty and refreshing coffee with a pleasing taste. Nothing over complex but very suitable as an everyday drink.If you have money to spare on coffee and want something extra special each time, this is probably not for you. But if you are looking for a very affordable coffee, this coffee will not disappoint. It is great value for money.The packet advises 1 dessert spoon per cup. Using a very generous dessert spoon scoop has presented an enjoyable coffee and not at all bitter as some reviewers have stated when using large servings.One slight criticism is the packaging. You open the pack and it is not at all resealable. You will therefore need an airtight solution as the 500g of coffee per bag will go stale soon before you use it all if exposed to the air. However the tradeoff is such simple packaging allows for such affordable prices.Would recommend, great value.

This is like dark chocolate coffee (even smells like it). Very rich, dark, strong, burnt taste. A bit like Turkish coffee, but stronger, 4/5 strength.If you eat sugary chocolate like cadbury rather than high cocoa chocolate this may not be for you. But who knows.At first I drank too much and felt not good. With this you need to reduce the amount you consume, much like dark chocolate. Now only 1 cup per day ( before it was 2 or 3)Also I reduced the amount I put in the machine normally, by half.Make sure you air this coffee it needs to breathe, could be leave outside bag or container for 30 minutes or so before using. Then the true smell/ flavour comes out. Mine is in containers which I leave to breathe.Leaves a taste in the mouth. For me not bad but a bit like again eating dark chocolate.Warning do not drink this after drinking other 2/3 cups of your other coffee if you can be sensitive sometimes to caffeine.This is going to last a long time. :)I would suggest if you are going to buy this, buy another lighter coffee because then you can go between the 2 on different days. Plus coffee gets dull when you drink too much of the same.Blessings to you. Have yourself a high flying caffeine driven day :D

The coffee I usually have on subscription was unavailable so had this as the replacement and find it to be just as good as the other. Also more for your money so happy all round. Lovely aroma and not too strong if you use the recommended amount. Had to mess around with quantity at first but now I know how much to use its spot on.

Bitter, not rich in flavour. You can’t complain too much considering the price but been drinking it for a week and I’m not keeping it.Not a coffee snob, more than happy with Lavazza for comparison.

Good value and a decent coffee. I am not a coffee snob and just want a decent drink when I get up each morning. This is a good every day coffee for just that purpose. Good flavour and no bitterness which is perfect as I drink it black, no sugar. Nice to be able to buy the large packs as I previously had to buy so many of the smaller ones in the supermarkets. Have reordered.

Excellent flavour and value. Bought this as a trial and was really surprised how good it is. I really enjoy the flaour and liking strong black coffee it is perfect. I will be buying again.

Abbiamo acquistato questo caffè per testarlo in sostituzione a diversi caffè provati in passato.Partiamo dal presupposto che siamo italiani "anomali", infatti prepariamo il caffè a freddo con una estrazione in caffettiera francese per 24 ore in frigorifero. Il motivo? Minore estrazione delle sostanze acide e grasse che provocano gastrite a mia moglie, mantenendo una buona aroma ed un corpo adeguato come caffè da colazione.Beviamo il caffè rigorosamente nero ed amaro: questa miscela rispetto alla Jacobs che potete trovare su Amazon ha un sapore più ricco e un minore sentore di bruciato sulla lingua. Rispetto invece al caffè Corsini per preparazioni all'americata è leggermente inferiore come qualità complessiva. Considerata la differenza di prezzo (costa praticamente un quarto) trovo che sia un'alternativa decisamente competitiva.
