A great item at a great price
This item is exactly what I needed for my two-port laptop. Now I can plus everything in instead of choosing which two periphreals I need at the moment. It works great and I highly recommend this item!

Great USB hub, never had an issue, very convenient
My wife and I both work from home and have offices set up with both normal sitting desks and also with walking treadmill desks, and we move between them (her more so than me, I have to admit). This means we move our laptops with us, which can be a chore.Fortunately, we got setup with monitors/keyboards/mice at both desks, and the use of these small USB hubs provided a critical ingredient in being able to do a hassle-free move by simply unplugging the power, video, and this USB hub at one desk and then re-plugging them back in at the other desk. We both have various USB phone chargers, keyboards, wireless mouse adapters, video-conference cameras, etc, that are connected via USB, and this thing makes it a snap to have to only unplug and replug one connection. We've never had any technical issues with devices plugged into this hub, either. Bottom line is this was a cheap investment that provides great convenience, highly recommended.

Had issues with my Garmin unit not being seen by the Apple Macbook - bought this thing - works fine now.

Cheap, does the job, good for a laptop; doesn't sit flat, ports are a bit shallow
Lightweight, compact, and functional--those are three good words to describe this USB hub. The cable stores behind it, nicely and neatly, great for tossing in a backpack or briefcase. I like the flat ribbon-style cable; sometimes I think it could be a bit longer, but that's only because I need to use this on the side of my laptop where the main heatsink is and I don't like things like flash drives getting blasted by the hot air. There really isn't much for me to complain about, in terms of function. The ports on this hub are a bit shallow for my taste; not all of the USB connector fits in the socket. It works fine; it just looks weird. The hub also is designed to angle the ports up a bit when it's resting on a table, but plugging in anything bigger than a flash drive (like a cable of any sort) drags down the front and makes the back hover in space. It flattens the ribbon cable, though, instead of the slight twist it gets when nothing is connected to the hub, so really it's more of a design oddity than anything else. This hub's only limitation seems to be power, as expected from an unpowered USB hub. It did not work at all with an external 2.5" hard drive enclosure I used for my laptop's old disk drive, because the enclosure requires two full-powered ports to function. Keep in mind that everything connected through a USB hub (or daisy-chained setup) must draw a combined total of 500mA or less for all devices to work for sure. I have not had any trouble with data corruption or anything like that, so the hub's electronics appear sound. In case others have something similar happen to them: The first time I tried to use this hub, I plugged it in, plugged in my USB mouse, connected my USB HDD, and then Windows said the HDD was unformatted. I spent the rest of the afternoon playing tricks with USB drivers, Device Manager, and power to the laptop's mainboard to get USB working again; Windows kept saying that a USB device connected to the computer had malfunctioned and was unrecognized, connecting and disconnecting endlessly, and none of the four ports did anything more than supply power to whatever I plugged in. Shutting down the laptop, unplugging it, and removing the battery for a minute or so appeared to restore USB functionality again. Since, this hub has functioned flawlessly (within its limitations).

All USB Ports
I got this to replace an older one I've had. It is wider and not as compact, but still works for it's intended use. In the past my Targus portable hub has been dependable, so I expect I will have the same for this one as well.

Works great
I just don't understand why Computer makers only put on USB port on computers now a days.... almost anything music related can be attached to the computer by USB.. and other things like flashlights can be charged thru the USB port.. I have 3 USB items plugged in all the time.......I appreciate that I don't have to worry about switching out items anymore because I only have one USB port on the computer.

I thought that you could use pretty much any USB Hub off the shelf
When the CronusMax first announced USB Hub support, I thought that you could use pretty much any USB Hub off the shelf. So, I ran down to the store and bought a generic brand USB Hub for my Cronus and wow were there a lot of bugs and errors! However, now that CronusMax has released what kind of USB Hubs to use, I went online and chose the one they used most often on there tutorial videos and this USB Hub fixed all my problems! If you have a Cronus and are having troubles with getting it to work properly on your PS4, this is the USB Hub to try!
