Star Wars Toys: A Super Collector's Wish Book Hardcover – January 1, 2012

I own the 4th edition along with this book to help me inventory my collection - I do notice some small errors in the book that I will contact the publisher about. BUT - for the money you can't get much better - THOUSANDS of photos, MASSIVE inventory old and new - pages are think, good quality allowing a red sharpie marker for checking your inventory in the book. Prices are fair and accurate. Images are clear and book we well made. If you have a very large collection this is a fantastic guide ( multiple editions combined are helpful )

Got it for my bf. His a big star wars fan. He loved the book his super excited to go through it.

Great book for any Star Wars collector. Includes high res pictures of most toys and collectibles, as well a check boxes and pricing guides. I have learned a lot from this book, and look forward to using it to further my collection, as well as collecting knowledge.

This is a valuable resource to any collector with a comprehensive collection of information.It needs a good technical proofreading and formatting check but it doesn't take away from the information.

Take this book with me when I go looking for figure I am missing- Great descriptions of the variances of the figurines and toys.

This was a gift for my husband who is becoming obsessed with Star Wars toys. He loves it, as it gives him a base from which to start identifying different toys and what they are worth. It reminds me of a textbook, in the way that it is bound! A nice gift for a Star Wars nut.

One of the best books I have found for Star Wars collecting. I am currently pricing a private collection (1300+) items. This book has made it very easy and has so many items, that it is the only book I use now! Thank you!

Ein sehr tolles Buch. Schön groß und ausführlich. Leider auf englisch aber das stört bei diesen Buch nicht wirklich.

Here is my review:Pros:Nice hardcover format that is very solid and not too big you can sit in your lazyboy chair and read from it and not get tired like i did by some other oversized hardcover Star Wars books.Literally a ton of clean color photos. I mean its jam pack to the brim with tons of color reference photos.Tons of toys merchandise are examined from different companiesLots of written references.Good binding and good thick high quality paper.Cons:The presentation is the big con of the book. Its all over the place. As an example, you will find that the kenner toys are all over the book and not into just one vintage section. The author should have broken the toys by time frame that they came out instead and classified them that way instead of general categories. You have to flip back and forth thru the books to pinpoint some toys and its the general same idea thru out the book.Also he lists the toys with his own nomenclature system which can give collectors trouble to locate some items if they want to find the item by their packaging name. Example: the recent vintage collection as a VC nomenclature in the back of the card but the author does not use that system to identify the toys, unfortunately.Some of the packaging deserved more photos like the vintage Kenner toys. It would have been nice to see the back of the cards and some more pictures of the side of the playset,vehicle boxes for some older pieces.I still give it a 5 star because it beats looking on the internet for all of this stuff. It is a godly reference book that you can easily go to. It beats my old Tomart's toys book from the 90's. Its a time saving reference document. The price is awesome for all that amount of information. Probably literally a over a thousand hours worth of minute detailed work put in this so it should be recognized and rewarded.
