Having just replaced the door and installed new 3* Ultion locks, I wanted a 2* rated handle to further enhance the security. This one is 2* rated Rating / PAS 24 (Enhanced Security) / Secured by Design (Police Preferred) and scores well in other reviews I read before buying.These are a very substantial handle, more than twice the weight of the handles the double glazing company wanted to supply. It made the handles supplied with the door seem very flimsy indeed.Been installed a few months now and have performed well. No hesitation in giving 5*Though not criticisms, there are 3 things to be aware of when installing.You may need to enlarge the holes in the UPVC door to allow the larger screw bosses to fit. It may seem scary to do this to a brand new door, but was actually very easy and took less than 5 minutes with a cheap 17mm drill.Because of the cover disc over the lock, the euro lock cylinder must be the correct external length. For most UPVC door this would be 50mm inside and 45mm outside, but some double glazing companies supply 50/50 - lazy and compromises security as too much of the cylinder projects outside. 50mm outside will not fit under this handle. Check for your door.The cover disk slot was a little narrow for Ultion keys owing to paint on the inside edges of the slot, so you may need to clear this for easy use from outside for your keys.

The standard handles on external doors these days are such poor quality and cheap. This allows criminals to gain easy access into your house.I decided to upgrade my door handles with these ones as they are more secure and keep my property secure. It also prevents any attempts to gain access to the property as criminals will see the logo and wont even attempt it.When they arrived its clear why they are better, they are a lot heavier and the external handle appears to be reinforced with a plate inside. You really can see the difference when you take the old handle off and put it next to the new one.They are fairly easy to fit. You will need to make sure the lock cylinder you already have is the correct size, as it it sticks out too far on the outside the external handle will not sit flush. You will also need to drill the existing holes on the door itself to 17mm to allow the handle to sit flush. This is an easy task.All in all they are a great handle and a great upgrade.

When this arrived I couldn't believe how much more sturdy this felt than my old door handles. For the money, which I felt was a good price, these have been a well worth upgrade. Much more sturdy, a nice action and easy to install providing you already have the right sized holes.I've docked a star for installation but this has nothing to do with the door handles themselves. My existing handles required smaller holes through the door so consequently I had to enlarge the existing holes which I found a little fiddly. If you already have the correct sized holes then it's simply a case of unscrewing your old handles and screwing these into place - couldn't be any easier.

I bought a set of these handles to replace an aging set on my front door. The thickness of the metal used is high. Quite heavy in comparison to my old ones. The lock cover plate on the front is a nice touch and protects the lock from the elements and anyone trying to get a leverage on it. I installed myself and like others had to drill to make the existing holes wider. In use the handles have great solid feedback and smooth operation, these are built to last! Good for big hands that may bash the handle a bit when opening or closing! Took 20 mins to install.

Good solid handle and protects the cylinder, the secured by design is also a good deterrent. This retailer was also very quick to respond to queries and very knowledgeable about the product and how to help secure your property further, highly recommended product and supplier!

Absolutely brilliant secure handles. Easy to fit, very very solid and good quality. Much better than the standard handles which were on my doors to start with. Great price too. Very happy.
