These ten books are reprints of the original books I remember from the 1950's and 60's. They are "what it says on the tin" and represent good value. New buyers should be aware that these are NOT at all like the more recent TV cartoon series stories and do require perhaps a little more concentration by the reader than the newer, cartoon related series of Famous Five books.

Great purchase! My little sister is delighted with the books...and so am I :) The quality is so much better than I expected; you can't tell that it was used unless you investigate with a magnifying glass...although the damage is clear on the box, but that doesn't matter. Thank you!!

My son loves these book, it is really amazing to share my childhood favourites with him. Such a good price except for a little tear on the box the books are in an excellent condition.

Books were great for the child who wanted them but their box was damaged in delivery. She didn’t mind but I was a little disappointed.
