My hair is superthin and mostly out of control. I used to look scary most of the time, but since it went white at 36 now I pretty much resemble an ugly Einstein. Lots of brushing and supergel in the morning didn't help my mirror image much. It had a great effect on the cat. Oz won't even eat until I left the house and cats never do stuff like that. Life's little pleasures...Seriously, it was very 'fly-away', static-y and apparently even hard to cut. When I finally found a hair care specialist I like, I told her I wanted to lose the #2 buzzcut and grow it long. She told me to get some leave-in conditioner if I wanted any chance to live a normal, hairy life.Was she right! While not perfect it's light years from what it was. But I had to quit drinking to afford the salon stuff she recommended. So I had to Go Shopping (Thank you, Amazon). This stuff is about as good as ChezPaul's custom blended billion dollar conditioner (or whatever his name is), and it's a fraction of the price.I use it every 2-3 days, as I'm told it over-conditions if I use it daily, and then I get yelled at. Hey, over-conditioning is better than under-conditioning. After a couple of weeks I have even been asked what I was doing differently. Someone asking me about my hair? Huh? What's going on? I got yelled at and told I had to shower every day, even if my hair was now beautiful. I don't get it, but okay. There's a lot I don't get.Try it if you have badly damaged or frail hair. It worked great for me. Now I can't get Oz off my lap, but I still like this product. Be aware; after you apply this stuff, you have to sit with a stupid cat on your lap until it dries. I guess I could borrow a hair dryer and get yelled at. That would be a lot faster... I was going to give it 4 stars because it took so long to dry, but maybe that was my own fault.

I Love everything about this products. I've been using it for several years now.It's by far the best and most affordable product out there. It 10x better than it's brand name pricey counterparts.It leaves my hair silky and frizz free. It's a very natural feel to my hair that kind of gives me beachy wavy locks as opposed to my normal fine hair and fly-away's.It has a mild fresh and fruity scent that I love.My hair stays conditioned but light and clean. No heavy or sticky feeling.It's light enough that you can still use other styling products if you need to. I will often add one of their volume and hold type products with it.The price?!Garnier doesn't mess around. They are a grocery store product and price with expensive high end salon quality.I buy many of their products and I'm always happy.

I just absolutely love this leave in conditioner. I don't even have to use gel. Just after my shower and after brushing my wet hair, I add this into my hair and it makes my hair feel so smooth and soft. And the smell, I just love how it smells.**one little secret for any of your young children, I have a spray bottle that has water and I add a little bit of this into the spray bottle and I use it as a detangler for my daughter's hair.

This product is great for a basic, inexpensive hydrating cream for my hair after I get out of the shower. I have thick and curly hair which, especially over the summer, can be dry and needs a lot of conditioning. I use this in place of a regular conditioner when it's wet and comb it through with a wide tooth comb or my fingers. I let it dry naturally most of the time as it doesn't take the heat of a direct blowdry as well as other products.Now, I do not recommend using it all the time, as my experience is that I get more benefits from using multiple products spread out over time. It causes less of a buildup on my hair. It's a quick and cheap conditioning cream that can also help when I straighten my hair. It smells really great and is a good option for when you don't have extra cash for higher end products. Also, the Sleek and Shine Oil is a great cheaper alternative for deep conditioning of frizzy hair or for when you are straightening your curls.My hair is prone to frizzing and I live in a very hot environment with bouts of severe humidity so this conditioner has helped keep my hair tamed in summer time days. I wish it were silicone free, but like I said, it's what you get for what you pay. It's not animal tested, but you should be aware that the parent company, Loreal, does test on animals.
