CINOTON LED Wall Pack Light, 26W 3000lm 4000K (Dusk-to-Dawn Photocell, Waterproof IP65), 100-277Vac, Equivalent 150-250W MH/HPS

First of all, in response to the "50% Failure Rate" video above: As normal with my outdoor projects, I waited until there wasn't going to be enough time before sunset to get this light installed. I had the light wired, mounted and tested in deep twilight. I still had the inside diffuser plate and lens to put on, so I left the light on to do it. I immediately thought of the blinking light video as mine started blinking while I was working on it. I thought I had a lemon, too. But then, I realized that working in close to the photocell was reflecting the light from my hands and face, causing the photocell to think it was daytime again and shutting off. With no light to reflect into it, the light came on again, and thus began the blinking. I backed away from the unit and the problem stopped. The diffuser and lens were screwed in, I got off the ladder and the light has worked great since then. So, the takeaway from this is: If your light has uncontrollable blinking at night, look for nearby objects that are reflecting light back into the photocell. In the video above, this could be the overhanging soffit, gutter or trim, nearby reflecting plants, or even a reflection of the light getting back into its eye. Check the photocell, (the clear round button just above the lens) and make sure it's clean or there's nothing stuck to it.Please allow time to punch out the correct wiring and mounting points, with one stiff pop from a flat blade screwdriver and a hammer. Don't forget to put the foam spacer on before wiring, like I did. I got more wiring practice that way. Make sure the silicone gasket is firmly in the channels around the base where the lens mounts. This will seal the lens to the body and help it from being a bug catcher.My outdoor lighting transitioned to 3000k LED this fall, so I ordered the 4,000k option to get close in color. It's a little blue, but not on the same side of the house with the others, so it's not noticeable. This an inexpensive yet excellent choice for a forget about it dusk-to-dawn yard light. It has lots of punch and is much cheaper to run than the fluorescent unit it replaced.

These are actually better than what I thought it would be. These are quite heftily built which is good thing!. The construction of the light fixture housing material is Die-caste out of Aluminum & the LED assembly that gives out light is having plenty of heat-sink due this clever design. Better heat-sink = longevity of the LED light. The LED driver & Dusk-to-dawn sensor is totally Waterproof 'IP65' rated & sealed nicely inside with rubber gaskets. The '30 LED' bulbs array provides very bright light to an extent I would say "too bright" that is why I choose Correlated color temperature (CCT) of 4000k daylight version of this product as anything higher than 4000K tends to product bluish glow which makes it look too unnatural when compared to incandescent light. 'Warm White' is the best pleasing color that one can expect from LED lamps to match to incandescent light color.Then nice thing about this light fixture is that it can be installed with an existing J-BOX or on the wall directly using screws! The only reason I took one star off from the product rating is because the 'punch outs' to match the correct wiring J-BOX mounting points is very tricky & hard. The only way to knock those punch outs is to use a heavy-duty flat blade screwdriver and a hammer them out by placing this LED wall pack on flat surface and hit on it really hard it will come off as intended!Rating the product with four stars!

THIS LIGHT APPEARS TO BE WELL MADE & IS DUSK TO DAWN , IT IS LARGER LARGER THAN THE 13W. LIGHT THAT THIS COMPANY ALSO SELLS & IS NOT AS EASY TO INSTALL AS THE 13 W LIGHT & I MUST SAY THAT I AM NOT HAPPY WITH THE 26W LIGHT AS IT IS NOT MEANT FOR A REPLACEMENT INSTALL ON A WALL OR SIDE OF BUILDING & IS PROBABLY A GOOD LIGHT FOR A DIFFERENT INSTALLATION .I HAVE NOT USED ANY OF THE 26W LIGHTS BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF INSTALLATION BUT I HAVE INSTALLED 4 OF THE 13W LIGHTS & HAVE APPROX 6 MORE LIGHTS TO INSTALL ( PLEASE NOTE THIS ORDER IS PROBABLY MY FAULT FOR NOT SEEING ANYTHING ABOUT INSTALLATION WHEN I ORDERED AT LEAST 4 OR MORE OF THE 26W LIGHTS & THOUGHT THEY WOULD REQUIRE THE SAME INSTALLATION AS THE 13W LIGHT .

Nice photocell controlled, LED light for mounting on an outside wall. But plan on drilling mounting holes and 1/2-inch diameter wire access hole rather than chancing knockout; knockout looked too thick to try whacking with a hammer, so I used a hole saw. I used mounting bracket from prior light to mark where mounting holes needed to be drill. Gasket looked good, should be effective. Ditto for gasket around plastic lens.UPDATE: This light causes noise on your AC wiring. If you have a carrier current system such as the X10 (120 kHz carrier) or The Energy Detective (T.E.D., 132 kHz carrier), you will need to hard wire in an EMI filter.

I am writing this to tell everyone that these lights are the bees knees! They are extremely bright illuminate a vry large area. The light is white. I have had no problems with these lights this is my third. They have survived a Pittsburgh winter -10 bellow zero 2 times with no issues. I use them as dusk to dawn security lights you will not be let down with these they are high quality lights. They are THE BEES KNEES!

Their version of Dusk-to-Dawn Photocell where the light will stay ON for 2 minutes then OFF for 1 minute then repeat until sun comes up. My problem is this was purchased for house remodel and now when I put them in....and as with all home projects they never finish on time - too late to return to Amazon.Would not recommend.

I replaced another Dusk-to-dawn wight with this. It uses less current but illuminates better than either the CFL that burned out or the first one that was a high pressure sodium.This is the third LED style D-T-D on our property (garage, ends of house) to be installed.
