Beautiful sculpted tree Excellent Value
I received my large bonsai yesterday. It arrived sculpted as in the photo. The tree appears in very good condition with lush green leaves. So far no yellowing or dropping leaves. It arrived well packed in a large box. This pot is heavy glazed ceramic in lovely robin egg blue, not the dark blue as in photo. I’m very impressed with the tree and they offer an excellent price on amazon. The Brussels Bonsai brand are excellent healthy trees. This is my 4th tree of theirs. Brussels is just a phone call or email away if you need advise with your tree. They also offer a guarantee.I highly recommend this tree if your looking for a substantial size bonsi. It’s much bigger than the ones you see at Home Depot.

BEWARE - Fukian Tea Indoor Bonsai plant arrived DEAD
I ordered this for my 15 year old son's birthday. The plant arrived in a fully contained plant box. When we opened the box we immediately noticed a fowl stench and black leaves. The shape of the plant was intact and we weren't 100% sure that the plant was dead. There was a chance the leaves were supposed to be black. Well, a few days later all the leaves fell off and the stench remained. My son wanted to wait until closer to the 30 day return deadline to see if he could get it to sprout new leaves. We waited, watered, and cared for the plant over the next few weeks, but no new growth. I tried initiating a refund through Amazon's online return portal, but it said I couldn't return it through this method. I then called the vendor Brussel's Bonsai as the literature included with the plant stated they would replace the plant within thirty days. The woman I spoke to at Brussel's immediately was on the defensive. She was not helpful AT ALL! She even sarcastically called me "honey" and told me she could not and would not help me. I asked to speak to the owner, she said he wasn't available. I told her that their plants are arriving dead. She didn't care. She was unresponsively nasty. She told me to call Amazon and gave me Amazon's phone number. I told her Amazon wouldn't accept the return through the online portal and that her company guaranteed the plant for thirty days. Of course, she remained unhelpful.Luckily, I went through Amazon customer service chat and told them what happened. They refunded me the total price on the spot. My faith in Amazon is at an all-time high. My faith in Brussel's Bonsai is, unfortunately, nonexistent. I would be wary about ordering a live bonsai from Brussel's. Maybe my experience is/was unique, but no plant ordered on Amazon should arrive dead. Plus, the vendor was defensive and unhelpful which says something about the company as a whole. Be wary of ordering these bonsais.

The most beautiful tree i have ever seen!!
This tree was the most beautiful tree I have ever seen in my life! It was healthy, perfectly moist, and packed exceedingly well. It already has blooms on it getting ready to flower! I have bought several trees in the past and this is by far the best Bonsai I have ever purchased! Shipping was fast as well. Would recommend to anybody, well worth the price. I cannot oversell this bonsai, I am blown away by the quality!!!

BUYER BEWARE!!!!
I would NEVER waste my money on a plant from this company again. The plant arrived beautiful but after about a week I realized it had mealy bug which only could have come from the grower since this is the only live plant I have in my house. I have tried everything and thought that spraying straight alcohol might work. It worked for about a month and i just saw this morning that the plant is covered again in this pest. I am very disappointed i received a plant that i just about have to kill in order to try to rid it of pests. BUYER BEWARE!!!!

Not every plant makes it
I have purchased three bonsai plants from this company. Usually they have been great quality. This one arrived on 8/16/20. See the original picture. By 9/1/20 is was almost dead. See the next picture. I have watered them as instructed. I have three other bonsai's that are doing fine. I just think this one must have had a difficult delivery or something. I would like a refund with the 30 day warranty as I have already purchased another one from the same company.

Excellent customer service
I was wary of buying an xlarge bonsai sight unseen from Amazon, especially because other buyers complained about broken pots and no customer service. But the listing says covered by Amazon 30 day returns... So I bought the xlarge Fukien tea. Brussels sent an exceptional specimen, a little larger then the listing, which was great for me. Unfortunately it arrived in a broken pot. I was debating whether or not to return the whole thing (it looks like an option under Amazon returns), but I loved the actual bonsai. So I contacted Brussels directly (googled then and they had a contract email: [email protected]), and they sent me a replacement pot within a week. In the meantime I kept the plant in quarantine in my grow tent (I always do this with new plants), and the thing sprouted all sorts of branches and flowers! It's very healthy, which is great overall, but means pruning will be required. I'll be buying from Brussels bonsai again!Update: last pic is two weeks in (after pruning and wiring a few branches). The orchid is 15 inches tall (for comparison).
