When changing the rear brake lights, I broke one of these and the other 3 were pretty banged up due to age so it made sense to replace them all. Got these and they fit perfectly. The notch in the expanding part is helpful to pop these up in the future without damaging them. Great price too!

Definitely did the job when I replaced the rear bumper of my Jeep.

My drivers side brake and signal light went out on a 2010 Jeep Patriot. Since the two lights are are the same bulb circuit (running lights are on another circuit in SAME bulb), and both of above went out together, I knew with running light on, it was getting power, and bulb needed replaced. Then I saw it - no bolts are screws are used in this Jeep for 90%of exchangeable parts, like lamps! So I pulled out the 2 of above from Jeep, tail light came off, replaced it, and put 2 of these new fasteners in because you ruin the old ones coming out! Result: Got all lights working now. Had I took it to dealer, these plastic suckers are $5.25 EACH! Now I have enough to put away and use on Jeep and New Ram truck too! Good luck!

At $6 each at the dealership, these are not only vastly lower in cost, but they are superior to the factory installed ones. If you own a car that these will fit, get them....

Ill give this a 5 star rating . 2004 JEEP PATRIOT 2.0, they worked great when replacing wheel well and undercarriage cowling fasteners. . In some cases I needed to tap on the fastener head with a light mallet to get it down and firmly in place... they keep things pretty tight and secure . I did not use them in any other area of my vehicle. Recommend buying the removal tool to remove fasteners when needed.. they are snug.
