I have to say I’ve only just got them - and haven’t washed them yet, but I don’t expect them to be any different from other cold wash cotton. I’m 5’1” and recently lost weight, and at 7st 10lb most of these trousers (especially ‘one size’) are too big, but these are perfect. The waist is very comfortable for me but has a firm band which could be tight but isn’t on me. The colours are a little more muted than on the pictures (as others have said) but I wanted this - they will blend with SO many jumpers and tops for the winter. The material is a firm but forgiving cotton (so you can cross your legs okay) and the ankles don’t ride up too much when sitting. They are baggy but in a nice way with big invisible pockets. I’m delighted but someone substantially bigger might be disappointed.

I got some long stares when I wore them in town, so it was a great result for me. I am 67 by the way and still a hippy at heart

I expected these to be really bright, judging from the picture, but I thought they were quite dull. They were also too small at the waist - I'm a size 16, but can usually get away with these kind of harem pants and although previous reviews were a little mixed regarding the size, I thought I would give them a try. Had to return them

Absolutely love these! So disappointed that they're now unavailable, would definitely have purchased several more pairs.Update September 2020: I now own a few pairs of these! Just slightly unfortunate that the colours fade quite a lot after washing.Had slight problem with seam coming apart after one wash, but Shopaholic rectified this immediately. Still my favourite trousers!

I'm 5"11 and usually a size uk 14/16 and these fit perfectly! Will easily stretch out for larger sizes and would definitely fit smaller sizes. Could do with being an inch and a bit longer however looks lovely pulled up to mid calf length. Bought so many harem trousers in the past and these are the best i have purchaced, thick material and good quality for the price. Will be purchasing other colours

Bought as part of a costume and they're pretty cool! I was expecting them to be really small as some comments suggested, but they're huge! I am a 30 inch waist and it's probably a 31, but they are very lengthy. They also have pockets which I didn't expect! The colors are a little softer than in the image and you can tell that they are probably not to be washed in a machine, a least not in hot water. Pretty cool and very comfortable though. Delivered in less than a week.

I loved these, they were so well made & great design. Unfortunately they measured 21" at the waist before any stretch & because they were so well made there wasn't enough give to be comfy. I'm 5'7" & the length was perfect though. I'm size 12/14 so would recommend these for 10/12 or smaller. Gutted 😕

I love the fit and comfort of them. The colours on line are so much more intensified than the actual thing.Also too long but because of elastic waist it's cool.
