The battery in my Tab S had gotten to the point that it would only last about an hour before needing a recharge. It was either replace the tablet or try to install a new battery. After watching a couple of videos on YouTube I decided to give changing the battery a try. I bought from this vendor because the reviews seemed real and none were bad. It's not as easy to open the tablet as the videos make it seem, but using the tools supplied with the battery I got it open and followed the steps in the video to replace the battery. I don't think the new battery has as much capacity as the original, but it lasts several hours so I am happy with the purchase. If you decide to replace your battery, here are some tips to help.1. The battery screws are tiny. Use a magnet to magnetize the supplied screwdrivers so they will hold onto the screws.2. When reinstalling the flat cables, be sure to push them into the connector far enough that the line on the cable aligns with the line printed on the tablet before closing the clamp.3. After connecting the battery to the tablet, use one of the plastic tools to push down on the connection to be sure it's firmly seated.

Battery was fine, but the tool provided to open the tablet case was useless. The plastic was so cheap it was totally destroyed before I got it completely open. Bear in mind I used to do electronic work for a living, so this is not something new to me. I had to use a small screwdriver to finish the job and ended up cracking my screen. Its still usable but not pretty. This would be a 5 star review if it provided a decent quality tool.

I purchased this battery to replace the five year old one in my tablet. The old one wouldn't last more than a day which required daily charging. This new battery only lasts a bit more than a day. The original battery when new lasted almost a week without charging, this one does not come close. I've now used this battery for two months and barely lasts a day now, and I need to charge it during the day. This is not a quality battery, very dissapointing.

Easy to change my own tablet battery I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to do it and I would break my tablet. Went to a site that took me step by step on how to change my own battery. Make sure you get the tools to do it though. This seller sends them with the battery.

Worked perfectly. I replaced the charging port along with the battery, but there is no doubt that the battery in my tablet now lasts longer than the old original battery. Opening the tablet is a little tricky, so be careful.

I had to purchase a complete new battery this wasn't good

Was a bit difficult to get the back cover off, but the rest of the replacement process was very straightforward. Good life on the new battery, would buy another when I need.
