**Perfect Size, Quiet, and Cools Our Office Fast**
We bought this for our 12x12 upstairs office, and it works amazing. It fits snugly under my desk, runs very quietly, and cools the room down fast—even in Florida summer heat where this room usually gets uncomfortably hot. The size is great, the airflow is strong, and it keeps the space consistently cool without feeling like it’s working too hard. For how well it performs, the value is solid. We’re actually considering getting another one for the bedroom. It was very easy and quick to install too.

This baby cranks!
I’ve only had it for about six weeks now, but this baby cranks! During this year‘s prime days I was going crazy comparing various portable air conditioners. It seemed like every product had positive and negative reviews. I finally narrowed it down to this one and another and I’m so glad I got this one! It works very very well! It saved me from not being able to move from heat exhaustion during an extra hot and humid New England summer. I live in a Victorian building with no central AC. I kept this one in the bedroom with the door open, and not only did it cool the bedroom, but it seemed to help the small window unit I have in the living room to keep the living room cool as well. I will say it is extraordinarily heavy! That’s to be expected I suppose. And the other reviews that mentioned that it is loud were right. It is definitely not a quiet unit. But after a few minutes lying in bed it just turned into white noise for me. And personally I was much better able to sleep with the noise than the heat I would’ve had without it !!! As a sidenote I have never used the dehumidifying feature. The dehumidifying feature is the one that seems to have created all the leaks that some reviews speak of. 🤷🏼♀️

Updated: unit stopped cooling after two months.
I bought the little unit for my bedroom. It is noisy, but simple to install and drain. It came with everything but window foam sealing tape (for the gap between raised window). I also use HVAC heat resistant tape on both connection ends to keep the exhaust hose from falling off/out. After two months the unit began to cycle between ac and fan every five minutes. It wasn't the filter or anything like that clogging it or making it run bad, but low refrigerant. It is the proper size for the room, and while I would expect it to flip to fan cycle if the room was cool to temp programed, I would understand. I even reset it to a higher temperature for cooling thinking that might have it run longer before cycling to fan but nope. It points to lack of refrigerant and you have to have an hvac person top it up that costs as much as the unit if not a bit more. That's not happening. So, I am out a lot of money and back without AC after two months. I would not give it any stars if possible and wouldn't recommend this product.

Pretty great but have a question
Over all, I am very pleased with this AC unit. It does a great job of keeping my room cool and the fan noise is very relaxing and a great white noise to sleep to. But I have a question: if I’m running it on the AC set to a certain temp, once it hits that temp the unit turns off. I’m curious if there’s a way to have the fan keep running instead of the whole unit turn off. When just the fan is on, the cooling feature isn’t engaging. Is there a way to have the fan start and run once the cooling off? Or keep the fan part on, and when the temperature rises above the set temp, it’s supposed to it kicks on the cooling feature?Help!

VERY,VERY HAPPY 😊 W/PURCHASE 🆒
I LOVE IT!!!! I’m a 46 year old woman and I put it together in a few minutes. It comes with everything you need minus tape,if you choose to use tape. I purchased the 8,000 btu and it’s fine for the room I have it in. Idk the sq ft of the room, but it’s big enough for a full size bed,Chest drawer, totes, a couple of standing tables (small) and two dog cages and plenty of walking space still. This is the room the pets chose to chill out in now so I got them this because the 2 fans just weren’t cutting it on our 90 degree days! The first day I installed it they were all so peaceful, laid out and resting 😃. You can change the direction of the vent for the air,it has several settings including a sleep setting. It doesn’t take up much space at all. The hose that goes out of the window is of nice length. It rolls which makes it very convenient for maneuvering it if need be. Comes with a remote that takes two triple A batteries, batteries were included. I was able to get it in the house by myself with no issue. It’s very important that I mention it has a drainage hose for the leakage. I’m not in a garden apartment or low level apartment so I can’t put the hose (which is very short) out of the window so it could leak outside therefore until I figure out a better way I have the drainage hose sitting over in a small bathroom size wastebasket to catch the water. I’ve timed it so I know that I can do 7 hours before it needs to be dumped. Even though that may seem like an inconvenience it’s not a dealbreaker for me because I actually love this portable unit just that much. The room is very cool and stays cool once it’s actually cooled off. It makes what I think people refer to as “white noise”,but I can still hear just fine when I’m in here with the pets and I’m either on my phone or watching tv. I paid 209$ for it,I see it’s about 20$ less now so perhaps grab it. Either ways it’s worth the money. I did a lot of research on portable AC units before actually going with this one, very pleased!! Also, this particular unit is made for more than one style window which was a plus for me. If I can remember I’ll come back with an update regarding the difference in my electrical bill. Would I rebuy, absolutely!! UPDATE: I purchased this at the end of June and I’ve cut it off twice because the temps had dropped. My bill only increased by 78$ and we are now a few days shy of Sept. I think that’s pretty good considering it’s been running everyday (with the exception of 2) on between 66-71. I’m pleased with that. I was nervous, but it was so hot 🥵 that I didn’t care about the bill hike I wanted all of my fur babies to be comfortable and I reaped the benefits as well 😂! Also, the remote stopped working. Obviously I checked the batteries and they were new,but still couldn’t get it to work. Reached out to the Company and without issue I sent them a screenshot of my invoice and within a day they sent me out a new remote (free of charge) and two days sister they sent me the tracking info. Very pleased with the service from beginning to end. Think I’ll buy another next year because I now know that it works great, the Company provides great customer support and the cost to run it didn’t break the bank.

It works, but not what was advertised.
I purchased the 8000 BTU unit, to cool a 12x14 room. It struggles to keep it around 80° when the outside temperature is near 95. While it definitely serves a great relief, the over 300 square foot recommendation for the size, is not accurate. It's just not strong enough. It is quiet and the leakage is very minimum. Filtration is easy to clean, fan speed is awesome, it's just a little underpowered compared to what the advertisement said. So if you're looking to cool off an area say 400-600 square feet, I recommend you go with a much larger unit and probably two of those if you're looking to cool off 600 ft.
