Hunters Specialties Carlton's Calls Estrus Urine

Used these for my archery hunt, girlfriend wouldn’t come within 10 yards but the elk sure did.

I've been using this stuff for years. What I received was not even close. It came in the Hunters Specialties container not the Carlton Hunters Specialties. Carltons were brown wafers, these were black. Nevertheless it wasn't Elk urine smell. Don't know if it was synthetic or not. I actually drew in a big herd bull in Arizona out of a herd of cows to a tree stand by putting the wafer on an oak sapling directly below my stand. Shot him from15 feet up. So this stuff really works. But it was Carltons. I should mention that Amazon refunded my money no problem. Thank you Amazon. Update: I failed to read the package! It says "Synthetic". I wouldn't trust it at all for anything! Whether you would try to use this to draw a bull in or as a cover will not work. If I knew the difference, animals instantly know an unnatural smell. I'm not saying the seller is aware of it or not. The packaging you see in the picture is the old version and is real urine. This one is black and says synthetic on the back. Sort of deceptive to say it's "Cow Elk Urine".

Some of the strongest smelling cover scent wafers I have ever used. Smell like a bull elk had been rolling around in a wallow for a few days in the Colorado heat. Used them for a week this year and every time the wind would shift on my back I could smell them, now I just need to figure out how many washes it will take to get the smell off of my hunting backpack....

have dragged these thru the woods and haven't been assaulted by any elk yet

Received this product and it was in a double sealed bag system and it was still smelly. These wafers are strong and stored in the shed because all the pet animals are going crazy over the smell of these things. I would say they should cover any human scent being they are so strong scented.

Smells like elk! This cover scent has allowed me to get very close to many animals. One wafer will last quite a while, this comes with three.

Ive had my nose up enough cow elk asses to know this is the real deal. Works great for scent masking in the woods.Also works for hiding in your friends sleeping bags.....

Not so sure about the claim to smelling like elk urine. Definitely a scent to cover all others. I wouldn't trust this to be my first choice in cover scents. Cant get the stinks off my pack.
