Hose eventually blows
I bought two hoses in may of 2021. They made it to July 2023 before both blowing in the middle. This is with infrequent use for the first year. Otherwise what a lightweight dependable hose. Too bad I cannot purchase more due to unavailability.

Didn’t last.
I purchased two of these hoses in July of 2019. Neither were used very often. I kept them both in my 5th wheel rv to take on our annual camping trip. The only use was once or twice during the camping trip we would stretch them out to fill up our fresh water tank. And occasionally I would stretch them out to fill up before we left home. So very limited use. Maybe used a dozen times total. They both blew out on me on this trip. So my assessment is that they did not wear out. They deteriorated from age. Kept inside a storage compartment on my trailer. Never exposed to the sun for more than a few minutes at a time. I’m very disappointed with these hoses and I would have expected them to last way longer than they did. I have outdoor hoses at home that are exposed to the sun every day non stop and are 20 years old and still work perfectly. I cannot recommend this hose to anyone.

Lightweight and functional
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been wanting to have a hose available to me in the garage that didn’t take up a lot of space. This expandable hose fits the bill perfectly. The included shut-off valve, the multi-nozzle, and the hanging bracket are awesome bonuses.Anytime there is metal to metal contact along with water, it’s inevitable that the metal will corrode and eventually seize up. So to be on the safe side, I added a few layers of Teflon tape to the connection between the on-off valve, and the hose outlet. Other than that, the hose is awesome. It’s not heavy at all for a 100 foot hose, it stores and winds easily, and the fabric seems to either not absorb a lot of water from the outside, or it just dries very quickly. In every aspect I can tell thus far, this is a great and lightweight hose. I don’t expect to leave it out in the sun since there was no mention of it being UV resistant; I think that would just prematurely damage it.There is a funny aspect to this hose. It’s expandable, so obviously something in its construction has to be expandable and retractable. What’s funny is that it expands easily under the water pressure, but as soon as water begins to be released (or as the volume of water decreases), it begins to shrink. Aside from being a funny snake-like effect, it also means that if you needed to reach a spot 100 feet away from your spout, as soon as you being releasing water, your hose length begins shrinking. This effect of expansion and shrinkage repeats itself every time the water is released or held at the nozzle. I don’t think this is unique to this hose, but more likely a fact of any expandable hose. That effect is what I hoped to capture in my video.

Replacement Hose Arrived in Two Days
Have had three other of these hoses (25'/50'/100') for a year and they are great. This 100' hose arrived and as soon as I turned on the water the plastic fitting by the nozzle snapped in two, ruining the entire hose. No problem. UPS picked up the bad hose the next day and the day after that I had a new hose that is working just fine. Hose fittings are different on the new one so hopefully it won't break. Probably just a defective coupling as the hose looked new and not a return. The hose is super light weight and I keep all of them in plastic planters near the house water facuets. No more dragging heavy hoses around or having to reel them back into ugly hose boxes. Didn't give it 5 stars because of the defective first hose.

Learn to use it
I had earlier bought the "Richard Karnes" model twice. Those two both burst early on within a week. This one is still going after almost a year. The thing I learned is that its length is a drawback, unless you pull it out before you turn on the water. You don't have to stretch it out full length. Just pull it from its coil. I found that if I turn the water on if the hose is tangled, I had a tangled mess to untangle. I just pull the hose out, let it lie on the ground and then turn on the water -- and no issues. The length is terrific for my large garden. What I don't like is the low water pressure. It'd be nice if the hose had a larger diameter.

YOU NEED THIS HOSE!
This is the second of these hoses I purchased from Delxo. I did have another brand for the back yard but it leaked at the faucet. Since the Delxo worked so well in the front yard, I immediately ordered another. Right away the faucet leak disappeared. The connectors are really like nothing else out there. The hose is durable. The first one I got Ive left it outside rolled up for 2 years and it works like new. It also comes with a very handy watering attachment. So its a gun nozzle. Again very easy to use and very easy to attach and un-attach. I grew up with the old hoses that were heavy and got all tangled. Now that its my house I want the best. It's proven to do what it says, it's been proved durable-by me, it's light, it is long-yet easy to store, free gun nozzle carry bag and great price. Also really nice customer support. After I used it about a week I got an email from the company asking if I was satisfied and if not, What could they do? If I need another Hose I know where to go. Try it!

expandable hoses have come a long way
Overall, I love the new designs. Much stronger than the previous generations but it is less "compact" when empty and heavier. Still soooo much better than lugging around the traditional hose!!Pros:- seems like a durable outer shell, much better than gen 1 materials by far- brass fittings- solid on/off valveCons:- this can be an annoyance. Due to the short connector and larger on/off valve, it may not fit some of the deeper setting connect and spray products. Example, it fits the cutter yard control spray bottles but it would not for some other brands like pivot or Bonide. The screw in is too deep set and when you go as far as the connection will go (hits the on/off valve), it still not fully set and water spray out that connection.Overall, I'd likely get it again but if I had a choice, I'd definitely be more aware of the length of the i guess, male? connection so it can seal for any type of yard sprayers.
