Very complete collection of Carols with chords and melody, as well as lyrics, so it's useful for accompanying sing-alongs.

I hesitated to order this as there was a bad review. But I went ahead as this was the ONLY song book that included "Do you hear what I hear?" which is what I was searching for. SO, it came early ! and the book is excellent 2nd edition - no missing pages or any complaints! Good size, easy to use. Merry Xmas!

This compact book is packed full of Christmas carols. There are traditional religious songs and fun favorites like Frosty the Snowman and Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree. Each song has the lyrics, melody and chords, so you can also use this as a seasonal fake book. If you aren't used to playing from a fake book, you should know that the songs only have the melody (right hand) and chord markings, not full sheet music.If you plan on caroling with a group, you would probably need more than one book.

This book made my Christmas season so much easier! I use it for Christmas caroling with my elementary school choir. It's helpful for me to read the melody line as we carol through hospital and nursing home hallways and I also use it to accompany the kids on the piano. Very handy! It will not lay open on a music stand, however. I took my book to the office supply store and had them bind it with a spiral binding and put a clear cover on it, so it is easier to use and will last a long time.

It's a good reference for chords and melody, but the range is much too high for my needs, and I work with little kids with high voices. I've had to transpose many songs down at least 2-3 steps, so the book is full of scribbled chord transpositions...something I could have done with ultimate guitar or another lyric and chord website for free.

Has many songs some not heard of many popular ones ,easy read with lyrics for all songs,but the greatest carol book I've found so far

Really love this book! I can't play the piano very well, but I am learning. And these songs are wonderful .... all the timeless Christmas carols I've sang since I was a child. And they are written in very simple musical format, which makes it easy for people like me who can't play well yet, and just want the melody, words and chords .... no bass clef. I only play when I am by myself, and this makes Christmas music very fun. Thank you so much!

This is something to have for the annual festive season in December every year. My coworkers, friends, family enjoy singing Caroling songs...something groups of people can share and have fun without having to go about reinventing the wheel. It's Christmas time, every year/years ahead.

A good resource for us fake book users. Only negative observation is the format. Dimensions are smaller than expected and the book is paperback bound rather than coil bound. This makes it a lot harder to use. Nice selection of Christmas material.

I expected an 8x11 book like the other Hal Leonard music books, but this is like 5x7. Very hard to read from a piano playing perspective. Check sizes of books before you buy!!!

Many of the songs do not display correctly in the latest Kindle for PC version 1.25.1. They're cropped incorrectly, or displayed in a small format that does not correctly render staff lines. Going from song to song, it's often necessary to change magnification or view, and in some cases you can't navigate to see the whole song.
