Awesome net!
For $30, this net can't be beat. Sturdy construction and sizeable enough to be able to land some decent fish, just gotta be careful with the little guys. The gaps in the netting are large enough near the bottom to be allow smaller fish to squeeze through.

Works good
I bought this for kayak kayak fishing. Haven't had this for very long but I have landed one fish in it so far. The silicone is nicer on the fish compared to a rope net and the hooks don't get caught in it. I hope it lasts a long time.

Great inexpensive catch and release net
The silicone net bag is deep enough to hold fish reasonably while not too deep, making it hard to get them back out. The holes are a good size for most fish, unless you're having a really poor day.

Makes "Catch and Release" automatic--but not in a good way
When I received this Mounchain landing net I was concerned about the size of the spacing of the net webbing in the bottom of the net, and to a lesser extent the depth. I took the net with me on an extended vacation in Colorado this July and found both concerns to be justified. This is touted as a catch and release net, but I'd prefer to do the releasing after I remove the hook. I found that any trout I caught that were not at least 13" could exit through the bottom of the net, and even some good sized but slimmer trout found it possible to wriggle through the webbing, while still on the hook. This made for an awkward business of removing the hook and freeing the fish. I also had a larger fish escape by flopping over the top of the net.I would have returned the net once I got back home, but found that the "return window" closed a week earlier, while I was still in Colorado. This is a well-made product that should only be used for large fish, but watch out that they don't flop out of the net. But forget about using it for brook trout or other smaller fish, unless you find it fun trying to retrieve them after they escape through the bottom. Nice Quality Net for Price
Does the job as needed. Landed a few 16 to 18 so far, but looks like it can handle more

I’m happy.
Beautiful wooden handle with the plastic netting great for trout fishing. Keeps the slime on them and super easy to work with. It’s large enough for good sized fish but not too big that I can carry on a long hike. Has a strap at the end that you can tie to your pack if you don’t want to hold it.

did not receive carrying bag, but net is fine
Bought one of these last year, net came with bag as advertised. This year, not. Returned it (exchanged) but the 2nd one also void of bag. The net itself seems ok, but I get very few opportunities to fly fish, even fewer to net a fish! Missing the bag is an annoyance, because the mesh is very floppy and soft and it snags on other luggage on trips. So if I'm not going to get the pouch they advertise, then I see other cheaper choices on Amazon of this same product
