Sony Ericsson W995 Silver Sim Free Unlocked Mobile Phone

Within 3 weeks of receiving the phone the navigation key stopped working downwards and the number 2 and 3 keys wouldn't work. Initially the Sony help chat suggested a software update, which seems to be their answer to every query, but it was obviously a hardware issue, so I had to send it off for repair. Disappointing, and i hope I don't have further problems once I get it back. I prefer a phone with buttons rather than a touchscreen, and I was unable to get one with my contract as they are all touchscreen, so the fact that I had to buy this one and it went wrong is annoying as it is an expensive phone.

I have previously owned this phone model and found it an excellent phone. I have owned the previous phone for three years. I find the keypad much easier to control than a touchscreen phone. It is a very hardy phone ( I should know, I have dropped mine several times. Including dropping it into thick snow on one occasion and on another, the toilet, and it continues to work to this day). The sound quality of music is very good and the 8 pixel camera is brilliant. The battery life is good. It has several features and instructions to use them are clear and are easy to use. I would definately and highly reccommend it to others and it is because of it's high quality that I chose to buy the same model again. I also think it looks good!

What's there to say, a multimedia machine, small ,sturdy great 8mp camera, fully loaded superb RDS radio.3G connectivity, great sound whichever media you choose .All this with legendary Walkman reliability. I think this is the best phone pre touchscreen. You can't go wrong with this little marvel.

i have been through so many mobile phones because of the constant new models and i have to say that i have not found anything close to the w995. the camera is good the and thewalkman is the best i have used.

This was to replace my 4 year old black W995. The case seemed like a cheap imitation. The camera auto focus didnt work. Not impressed by what was described as a NEW fone. Refund given.

the telephone seemed to me to be a poor copy,very flimsy,the back kept on coming off and the logo fell off within a couple of days,did not seem to me to be an original ericsson.
