This is a nice looking item. This was for my wife's office so I did not want to get the ugly metal filing cabinet. For a decently handy guy with a few tools, it took several hours to put together. The instructions are quite good, and the attention to detail of the fittings is really good for a mass-produced item, but there is a lot to put together to complete the assembly.And yes, it is particle board, but the sides and top are about double thickness to the usual particle board garbage. I would say about 4 cm thick. The finished product is quite heavy, and the guides for the drawers and other hardware are significantly higher quality than typical particle board construction items.Due to its design, hardware and the way it goes together, I believe that it will last for years, unless it gets wet/moist, then we all know what happens to particle board.If I were to buy another file cabinet, I would probably go with the metal filing cabinet and place it in the closet.

The product is beautiful...it is just like it looks online, except for one thing. We tried everything to get the drawers to completely close to no avail. Other than that, it is a very sturdy product and we are well pleased with the overall construction.

Several pre-drilled holes misaligned, causing screws to go in at an angle. Finished drawer fronts leave a wider gap on one side, and contrary to instructions, are unable to be sufficiently evened out with "adjustment". Poor instructions - (NOT everyone has a cell phone that is capable of scanning to view the detailed video instructions.....nor wants to.....and there is no alternative means to view/access these). Sales advertisement does not state that assembly is required, which is why I purchased this particular file cabinet as opposed to others that were substantially less expensive.Overall, I am displeased with the finished product's presentation due to these noticeable uneven 'gaps' on the file drawer's sides. But, naturally, after spending the time to assemble this file cabinet, I'm not going to take it apart, attempt to re-pack it in the box it came in (an impossible task), and lug the 100 pound box to wherever to ship it back to the seller.

I got drawn to this filing cabinet, since I needed to quickly establish a home office when my regular office space got on lock down. As a small business owner, I didn't need humongous space for filing, but it needed to be sturdy, reliable and fit to my house overall. This cabinet fulfilled all the criteria. It was very easy to assemble, all the holes had the right size and the parts fit well together.The surface feels good and has a decently thick coating that one isn't afraid the cat will leave marks upon jumping on top (like with some other furniture that I purchased recently).The one aspect that Bush should consider is to add two of the brackets so that one can fill the drawers either all forward facing on half forward and half sideways facing as it is the current default setup.

This is a quality product. Plan for a couple of hours from start to finish to put it together. I did it by myself (62 year old woman very active lifestyle) I have it in my office at work (2 of them!) and I love them.The only negative (and it was my fault) was I stepped on one of the drawer locking parts and managed to break it. I reached out to the maker, for a replacement (at my costs) but unfortunately, I did not hear from them. The drawer still works, but not as it should 100%. Great product, just don't step on parts. :)

This is a beautiful file cabinet and I have wanted it in my office for over a year. Nearly five hours after we started we cannot get the lower drawer to slide in for anything. We can get the upper drawer in and yea we are aware of the drawer lever that only allows one drawer to open at a time and that’s not the problem. The bottom drawer is getting stuck on the right side and we cannot figure out what the problem is. The tiny BBS have come out of both rails and we’ve put them back in I just want to scream. Something has to be wrong with it everyone else says theirs was easy to assemble. 🤬

I purchased two of these file cabinets. Because I want to use it to hold office supplies and other misc supplies. I had the bottoms of the drawers reinforced with wood strips. This made each of the drawers very sturdy. They glide perfectly. You can only have one drawer at a time open to prevent tipping. Great feature. It took about an hour to assemble each one.The look of the cabinet is great. They are in my laundry room and match the rest of the kitchen cabinets.

I would not say it was easy to assemble but if you have done any kind of ikea product assembly this will not be an issue. Once setup it is very stable and solid. Product is very heavy so i would assemble it near wherever you are going to be putting it. Drawers are strong and seem to be holding very well everything i have put into them
