My Favorite Handlebars!
I really like these bars, they have the perfect amount of bend and rise to ensure a comfortable ride. I use them on my town bike, which looks great with these bars. The aluminum is nicely polished. For grips I used twine to wrap around the hand area and put some wine corks in the ends for a classy look. I fitted VO's retro brake levers on them and now, they are just perfect. I also own VO's Montmontre handlebars; they are fitted with the same retro brake levers, but don't feel quite as nice, because of the super high rise. The Porteur bars are the way to go! Definitely a solid buy!

This is the one you want to try.
As I have multiple road bikes with drop bars I like to keep one set up with something different for a change of pace. The porteur handlebar is an excellent choice for casual rides under 10 miles. It offers multiple hand positions and has a nice upright style. This offering from Velo Orange is superb with graceful bends and a nice VO engraving. Unfortunately I will be wrapping my bars all the way to the stem so I won't be able to admire the logo but I know it is there :')The VO porteur would be perfect on an urban bike as it is relatively narrow. This handlebar replaced a cheap moustache bar that had over a 3"/80mm drop and was way too aggresive and uncomfortable.

Great handlebars with minor installation headaches
These are a really comfortable handlebar for long rides. They work really well with a pair of bar end shifters and look great too. Only issue I have with them is that they're exceedingly difficult to fit onto a tight single bolt quill stem, impossible even. You may need to switch to a stem with some sort of removable plate in order to use them.

Bars are excellent
Love these bars. I have put them on my bike plus many others' bikes. No complaints. Not too wide, functions great.

Awesome
Beautifully finished bars that are very comfortable. I was worried they’d be a bit narrow, but they’ve been great to replace too narrow feeling 400cm dropbars to city bike duty.

Lovely!
Keep in mind, these bars are not compatible with grips. You will need bar wrap/tape. Super comfy and stylish. I LOVE them! Put them on my '86 road bike, turned townie. Chef's kiss!

Very comfortable on a vintage cruiser
Using this handlebar on an old Puch and is perfect for converting old road bikes for around town commuting. Good quality, nice looking and very comfortable. With 25.4 stem clamp size fits most of those old road bike conversions and used with Velo Orange city levers, nice simple design that is fun to ride. Here's a link to a good blog article with photos.[...]

Comfortable and good looking handlebar
It was time for a 1979 Raleigh Grand Prix and its aging rider to get rid of the drop bars and have brake levers where they can be reached. Very nice finish on the bar! Attached photo taken before the brake levers were installed.
