Fire Vida Buckton Fire Guard, Metal, Nickel

This fire guard was exactly what we were looking for. It’s a modern design with clean lines, lets the heat from the fire through and, most importantly, removes the worry of the cats going too close to the fire.

The media could not be loaded. Very pleased with this 29”/74 cm length fire spark guard. It is sturdy, sits upright, good quality, and it really helps to prevent sparks getting on to the carpet. A total relief that I can open the multi fuel burner glass door fully now and have the fire spark guard placed in front of the log burner while the logs burn intensely, and have my dog lie in one of his many pet beds in front of the log burner. I can feel that my dog feels safe too. Very pleased with my purchase and I got the size spot in too.

Great looking grate. Unfortunately it’s open at the top and had a few bits of popping wood jump right out over the top of it. If that’s not a concern for the size/shape of your fiery area, then it looks great.

Simple style nevertheless sturdy.

I have a Ragdoll Cat - who when his toys go underneath the cooker gap on the bottom - has my cat putting his paws through the bottom of cooker to try retrieving his toys. Instead of retrieving his toys - he is pulling the on the cooker insulation with my coming down the next morning seeing insulation on the kitchen floor.I have someone coming on Wednesday to check over the oven for me but in the meantime needed to stop my cat gaining access under the cooker.I’m delighted that this fire guard “cooker guard” does the job and I just remove the guard when cooking and then put the guard back in its place after I have finished cooking.This particular “fire guard” also complements my cooker as if it had always been in the room. It certainly doesn’t look out of place.If you need a cooker protector - then you really can’t go wrong buying this item.

Using this for a small cassette style fire - it does only reach 3/4 of the height of the fire, as it is mounted higher up the wall, but it is exactly what I needed to keep it the kid away from the fire. Stabl when stood against the wall, and well made.

I bought this as my puppy goes up to the fire when on. I have an open fire. Perfect for screening but not a fire guard for babies and young children.Absolutely perfect for what I need and looks sleek.Would recommend this product
