Very poor
Bought this when it was the cheapest kettle on Amazon as my previous one was leaking and needed it quickly.1 - The first few weeks were a real struggle getting used to the poorly positioned lid "trigger" holding the kettle by the handle and avoiding the trigger is really hard with my average size hands - a seriously poor design.2 - it really stank when i first got it - very platicky and cheap. It took a good couple of months for this smell to go which is waaaay too long but then i had purchased it for under £20. So i put up with it (I should add that this didn't affect the flavour of the water it boiled)3 - Pour the kettle a too much of an angle and the crappy little filter located in the spout falls out into whatever you're pouring the newly boiled water - yet another quirk to get used to. Still, it boils water, right?4 - This week the "trigger" stopped working altogether after never really feeling sturdy i wasn't surprisedI wasn't surprised when i tipped the water at too much of an angle and the filter fell into the saucepan full of rice. I was VERY surprised when a tiny little piece of plastic only slightly bigger than a grain of rice made it's way onto my dinner plate. The only redeeming feature was that the plastic was grey. I have attached a photo. On closer inspection it looks like this little piece of plastic was connected to the top of the kettle and was the thing that opened the lid when the "trigger" was pulled. What a load of excrement. From start to finish this thing has been a disaster. Avoid at all costs - wish me luck in getting my money back!

I thought this kettle looked fantastic and wrote a review saying love it ,well i dont now.now that ive found out the truth.I bought this as a gift for christmas, and all through christmas till this day we suffered horrible tea we blamed the water as the council were working on the pipes,so i checked with my neighbours there water was fine my brother suggested there was a problem with the kettle.i said how could there possibly be a fault with the inside of a kettle.and to my shock it is the kettle god knows what everyones been drinking i even developed a sore throat then gave up drinking tea at my mums.i cant believe a kettle could cause such a bad taste

Worth buying :)
Great kettle, love the led light on all the time. Only thing that I find irritating is the button to fill the kettle is right where you pick it up lol. Oh and a never ending plastic taste but I know that will fade :) love the kettle

Fancy a brew? A bit funny tasting, but there you go! Ah, it's sorted now!
Received Monday 20 the March. Lovely kettle, nice looking. one thing that I have discovered, is that there is a plasticity taste when you make/drink your brew? On first use, filled kettle, let it boil, emptied water, refilled kettle again, discarded water yet again. On third try, brew still tasting of plastic. Whether this will subside or disappear entirely, I have no idea. Other kettles which I have had previously have never been a problem. Just boil for the first time, empty kettle, then refill with water and they've been fine! At the moment, the kettle has vinegar in it, after being boiled, which cleans the element, and hopefully gets rid of the plastic taste? We shall see. Watch this space for further updates! Kettle now fine, no plastic taste, had vinegar for a week, emptied, clear water, boil, discarded, now a nice brew. Only one trivial matter, On/Off switch plays up a little. When switch is turned on, it clicks off. Not due to being still hot. Even from cold/cool start, turns itself off. I have to push the switch down a bit hard so it stays in the On position. Probably a teething problem? Not sure! Watch this space for more updates!

Avoid at all costs
This is a terrible product as you can tell by many of the reviews my kettle broke after only 3 months. When i contacted the seller asking to return the kettle as it was clearly defective they were most unhelpful. Thet steted the product couldn't be returned as it was outside their 30 day return policy. I pointed out that i wanted to return the item as it was defective and that it should still be under warrenty. To this they replied their was no warrenty with the kettle and they would not be refunding my money. Amazons customer service managed to get things sorted out for me but i found the company that sold the kettle to be most unhelpful.
