These pods clean the dishes really well and leave no residue at all.

It works well, but I dropped a star because whomever put it in a box shouldn't have; it was put in a box loose i.e., without any wrapping or protection so three pods came undone. Lifting it out of the box was like lifting a bag of loose sand.

Effectiveness: great at getting our dishes clean without all the harsh chemicals. Product quality: the bag contained 5 broken pods. This is expensive and trying to work out adding those to the dishwasher has been a chore in itself. Overall definitely buying again.

The product does do a good job cleaning the dishes but prior to ordering it, one of the reviews mentioned how if the bag wasn’t sealed properly, the biodegradable casing just comes apart around the tablets. I thought to myself, that is an easy fix, just make sure to seal the bag properly each time. Well, sealing the bag is sometimes more tricky than you think. All it takes is once where you think the bag is well sealed when in fact it isn’t and the next time you go to use it, there’s a bunch of tablets that came apart and a bunch of loose powder left at the bottom of the bag. I feel there is work to be done on this product before I will buy it again. Glad I ordered just the small bag to try out before deciding to subscribe.

I wish I had done this long ago. We had been using Cascade pods, which stunk up our house, led to a buildup of gunk/sludge that clogged the dishwasher drain pipe and eventually the sink drain pipe, created a residue clinging to the bottom of the disposer flapper, fed some sort of stinking mold growth in the disposer, and burned my eyes when venting during the dry cycle. After two loads of dishes with these pods, all that stink, residue, and gunk have been purged, including the toxic smell from storing the Cascade container under my sink. It's so nice not to wonder each day how to get rid of all that and enjoy an odorless (other than food) kitchen and clean dishes.
